My wife and I have been utilizing the tax preparation services of Rukosky & Associates for two years now. We originally met with John Rukosky for our 2014 returns when we were living in Raleigh, NC, and renting our home back in Maryland. John and his staff did an excellent job of preparing our Federal and two state returns getting us all the deductions we were entitled to and, thereby, reducing our tax liability as much as possible. We were very impressed with the courtesy, timeliness, professionalism, and knowledge of both John and his staff in the initial meeting, preparation, and filing of our returns. This year we found ourselves living back in Maryland, but still requiring the filing of two state and Federal returns. John had assured us last year that if and when we moved, he would be happy to continue preparing our returns. After all our information had been gathered, we didn’t hesitate a second and went straight to Rukosky and Associates to prepare our 2015 returns! Once again, John and his excellent staff went right to work on our returns and had everything completed and ready for review and filing within a week! Unheard of turnaround in this busy tax season!!! As we’ve come to expect, the returns were prepared with the greatest of care and attention to detail, and all the legal deductions that could be applied were factored in to give us the best possible outcome. Wherever our life journey takes us, we will continue to use Rukosky and Associates for all our tax advice and preparation! My wife and I have used numerous accounting and tax preparation professionals over the years, and we have yet to find anyone as courteous, professional, timely, and cost effective as John and his team! We would unequivocally recommend Rukosky & Associates to anyone requiring top rate tax preparation services at fair and reasonable rates.

If you want an accountant that simply enters your data into a software then you can find plenty of such people. But if you want a tax professional that can really guide you on everything tax related for your personal and business matters and truly knows what it takes to handle every kind of tax situation, then do yourself a favor and talk with John Rukosky. I have tried several tax accountants in the past but have have always been disappointed. John knows taxes and the tax code in and out. He has guided us through our personal and business tax questions and filing, and book-keeping, setting up and advising about payroll and payroll taxes, setting up and advising about LLC and S-corp. Although John is so busy and has a large practice, his communication with us is excellent. I will receive monthly reminders from him personally, about reminders for when tax withdrawals are going to take place etc. I have never seen this level of communication from any other accountants. To summarize, I will say again, if you’ve been frustrated with other tax firms, talk with John, you will not be disappointed.

Top-notch service... is all that can be said to describe this group. Ryan is very knowledgeable, courteous, flexible, and considerate on every interaction. He takes time to explain various aspects of financial tools that are customized to fit every budget. At our first meeting, I was a bit concerned with being taken advantage of while divulging so much personal information. Ryan was understanding and provided answers to all of my concerns that allowed me to ease my fears. I am far from wealthy so I like to watch our pennies. Never once did Ryan make us feel insignificant. He always makes us feel as if we are valuable and are in a good predicament to reach our financial goals. He never over-promises or under-delivers.
