I purchased a foreclosed home that was listed by showcase realty a little over a year ago. Its hard to put into words how much of a nightmare it was trying to work with showcase. We were restricted to communicate with the listing agent through email only. It took nearly a month to get the house under contract bc every offer took at least a week to submit to the seller and get a response back from showcase. We would send multiple emails with no response. Finally we reached an agreement. When my home was found to have several major issues found during inspection (roof, plumbing, HVAC, water damage) I re submitted an offer to have everything repaired if the seller still wanted me to pay market value for the house. Weeks went buy with no response after numerous emails. Finally my agent called and demanded to speak with someone. When we did the lady was very rude and said the seller told us they are not going to fix anything! We pulled my offer off the table immediately. Assumingly losing my 500$ inspection fees. A few weeks later the house was taken off the market. Then about a month later the house was re listed with a new listing agency. I re submitted my offer requesting that everything on my list be fixed. Within hours I had a call back from our new agent and the seller agreed to everything i asked for. I bought my house with no issues what so ever AFTER THE SELLER FIRED SHOWCASE REALTY. Their are some dishonest practices occuring here. I strongly urge anyone to stay away from Nancy and her team at showcase. I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW HOME THANKS IN NO WAY TO SHOWCASE REALTY!

We recently purchased a foreclosed house, and the bank/seller chose to use Showcase as the local listing agent. This was the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. The agents working for Showcase were unhelpful and seemed inexperienced with the process, regularly taking days or more to get back to our agent and leaving out required paperwork from the seller, which added weeks to our purchasing process. From the time we made an offer on the house to to when we finally closed was a frustrating ordeal. We closed 2 days later than initially scheduled, and were lucky to get in that day, the last that our signed contract was valid. Earlier on in the process we were subject to very shady dealings between the seller and the realtor. We received an email stating that our current offer had been accepted by the seller, giving us approximately 3 hours to respond (which would then constitute a verbal agreement). We confirmed via email almost immediately. Less than one hour later, our realtor received a phone call from the listing agent, telling her that we were in a multiple offer situation and asking for our best and final offer. They had already accepted our offer, and thus should not have been accepting any others at this point. This did not sit well with me to say the least. I would avoid this realtor if you have any choice in the matter. They have very inexperienced people working for them and their business ethics are lacking to say the least.

Stay as far as you can!! We approached them for a new construction home listed in various portals. After few negotiations, we signed the contract on August 3, 2016 to buy the home listed for the price of $433000 and provided two deposit checks of amount $18783 each ($37566 in total). Among the two checks, one check was deposited in escrow. During the entire course of buying process, we were told that the entire money would be returned if we opt-out the contract before slab completion. On December 7, 2016, Nancy from showcase reality emailed me saying the construction will be on hold, as the builder is not getting approval from lender. She confirmed that, she would confirm the next step with in a week. We started following up with her from December 12, 2016 to know the next step. To our surprise Nancy confirmed the situation is unknown and can’t give any promises. As it is a shocking update to us, we started following up and exchanged multiple emails asking the refund. We asked to return the money deposited in escrow immediately as it was withdrawn providing a false progress and asserted that I am open for negotiations on the earnest money. Scam seems to be their motive to withdraw money providing wrong progress and seeking the huge deposit amounts. Till now we haven’t received a concrete answer on refunding our money back. Stay as far as you can from this realtor and their scams.

I am truly unhappy with showcase realty. When my husband and I were looking for somewhere to rent a house we actually chose them over another place, hoping for a great service; however this was not what we recieved. The application fee for the two of us was $100. We ended up renting a house that was not worth the amount we are paying monthly for it, but we wanted a house so we gave in. In my opinion, if I am going to pay $100 plus a down payment plus first months rent on a house that isnt worth the renting price I want everything to be working properly. On our move in date there were 14 different issues with the house; a few major ones like the HVAC not working (and therefore the air conditioning not working in August!), the fridge not wokring (cannot store food), one toilet wouldnt work and stunk up the whole side of the house and the other toilet seat was all moldy and cracked. Therefore we couldnt stay in a house that had no AC, couldnt store food, and could not use the toilet in until it was fixed. However when we asked to be pro-rated we were told this was unlikely, even though we couldnt live in the house yet we had to pay for it becasue we were already given the keys. This to be is poor business. I can say I will not recommend this company to any one I know.

We were scammed. We looked at a property and paid our application fee. We were told that no one else had viewed the property. We were told to wait 48 hours and that we would hear from someone. We were then told that the property had been removed from the market and that we would not be getting our application fees back. They told us there was nothing they could do!
