I gave Avalon Garden City a 5 star rating because of the Maintenance Dept. During my stay at Avalon Garden City, I found the supervisor Chris and worker Phil to be very responsive. When I first moved in, the dryer door would not work. I immediately went on the website to report the problem, thinking, this is going to take awhile. But to my surprise, Chris called me the same day and Phil arrived at the scheduled time and repaired the washer. I have not had any problems since with the dryer. A few weeks ago, I again needed maintenance and found Phil to be very responsive. Again, the problem was taken care of immediately. The maintenance staff really seems to be very skilled and tries to work with you when problems arise. The grounds are well maintained and during the winter, the snow was removed quickly. A knowledgeable and responsive maintenance dept. I believe, is what makes Avalon Garden City a nice place to live. Thank you Chris and Phil. I would also like to thank Vinnie for making apartment search so much easier and when I was about to give up because of the stairs, he led me to my current apartment. I t turned out to be a perfect fit for me. So thanks Vinnie.

I met Toni Weathers 2 months ago at Avalon Westbury when she was still working there. She took my daughter and me on a tour and was very personable and knowledgeable. Although she transferred to Avalon in Garden City, I kept in touch with her because I felt she was honestly interested in helping my daughter and me find the perfect apartment, whether it was in Westbury or Garden City. Toni returned every one of my calls and emails promptly, and even went so far as to make a video clip of an apartment, which she emailed me, to see if my daughter and I could make it work. She is such a wonderful person, very professional, helpful, and friendly, and it was such a pleasure and honor for my daughter and me to meet her. I commend her highly on her professionalism, conscientiousness, and authentic personality, and both my daughter and I are grateful to her for all her help.

I moved into Avalon back in February of 2015. In the past year I would say it has been an absolute pleasure living here at Avalon. Both Lindsay and John in the office and Chris in maintenance have always been there for me. I first met Lindsay when I was looking to move here, and she has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. She made my move in process smooth as can be. John on the few times I have needed assistance with maintenance issues has very responsive to my needs. And Chris who handles the maintenance not only gets it done in a timely manner but will follow up to make sure everything is ok. MC

First rate apartments and amenities but the best thing about living at Avalon Garden City is the staff. They work hard to make it a great place to live, welcome our guests, maintain the grounds the way I would in my own home, and attend to maintenance needs for our apartment immediately when they arise. They are friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and make living here fun and easy. I knew it would be a nice place to live but I never expected the kind of service we get which is easily the equivalent of a five star hotel.

Moved in 3/28 and have had a pleasurable transition into the Avalon complex in Garden City. In particular Vincent Luther was helpful, courteous and accommodating throughout. Also, had my first minor service request and the response was timely and the repair made by Phil was done quickly and efficiently.

What a great office staff! We moved in for the open floor plan and space, but Lindsay and Jon are the reason to stay. They have the warmest client service and have always gone above and beyond. The community is more than an apartment complex because of them.

Avoid avoid this place! The construction of the buildings is terrible. Constant problems! Management does not care about any of the tenants all they care about is taking your money! Rent increases are insane near 20 percent or more a year.

It is our 1st week here and we had an issue with our garage and the dishwasher. Philip in maintenance had both up and running in no time at all. He was very pleasant and professional.
