I have had them for two terms and not impressed at all with the service. I had them come out for a leak and apparently it was tied to my reverse osmosis so they said it wasnt covered and then my AC went out and they said it was the board but then they never ordered the board and I wound up calling the company that I was still under warranty with on my AC unit and found it was not the board, it just needed to be blown and cleaned out so they misdiagnosed it. I renewed because I believe they are all the same and I have a pool so I need to be sure its covered but honeslt Im not happy at all with this company,. I had them with another home too and it used to be easy to get hold of them and now you get recordings and its not as personal as it used to be. Not so sure its worth it but I will try one more year.....

THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE. THEY ARE UNAPOLOGETIC WHEN YOU THE CUSTOMER IS EXPERIENCING A CRISIS. THEY ONLY GIVE EXCUSES TO WHY CERTAIN THINGS ON YOUR WARRANTY ARE NOT COVERED AND YOU HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, PROBABLY MAY JUST TRYING TO MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT. LACK OF COMMUNICATION. I COULD GO INTO DETAIL ABOUT THE NITTY GRITTY AND THE NAMES OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WORKING THERE ALONG WITH THE LACK THEREOF FOR OVERSIGHT - THE PRESIDENT OF THAT COMPANY. (COUGH, COUGH, MICHAEL EASTERLY) ALONG WITH JANIE B. JOCELYN C. KIM, AND OTHERS. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR COVERED ITEMS. HAD TO GIVE A STAR BUT THEY ARE NOT EVEN WORTH ANY AMOUNT OF A HOMEOWNERS TIME.

I have been with this company about 5 years now. Fortunately, I only had to use them twice. Water Heater and Fridge issues. Both times, I had no problem contacting the company and getting my issues resolved. The water heater was a slight delay, but it was due to the code requirements from the City of Las Vegas and not NHW. The Fridge, I was expecting a two time visit. One for the diagnosis, and then the repair. But the company they contacted already had the parts and is is now cool again and the ice maker was fixed!!! All I can say is thank you, thank you! The peace of mind knowing that my house is covered is well worth the fee and deductables and the fact that NHW is there ready to respond is great. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am on a monthly payment plan. They have my card info on file. The card never gets charged on the day it is due, or for months on end. I have to call constantly to have them take the payment out of my account. This has been the issue for well over 2 years and they never do anything to fix it. It is incredibly annoying to have to continuously call, wait on hold, and be transferred a bunch of times just to get an automatic payment to be taken. Get with the times. If you are going to offer this payment option, make sure it works!

Have been a customer of National Home Warranty in the past with minimal complaints. I recently decided to leave the home warranty company I was with and re-register with National Home Warranty. My husband was told at the inspection last Friday that everything would be covered except for installation of our hot water heater because of its age. Imagine my surprise when our air conditioner went out on Tuesday and they DENIED THE CLAIM! Then they said they would refund my first premium payment. I recommend against using this company.

We had to use them several times this year, 2014, because of breakdowns. We were treated courteously and arrangements for the repairs were made promptly. They referred us to Residential Services who also treated us courteously. The repairs, when possible, were made the same day as the service call. If there was a problem locating a part, the time lag did not go beyond a couple of days. I would highly recommend National Home Warranty.

Please beware of this home warranty company. Left us hanging without AC in Las Vegas 110 degree heat for 9 days. No resolution. They sent out the cheapest fix-it contractors that were unskilled, who said AC could not be fixed. National did nothing! I had to call a certified AC company to fix our AC on day 9 and AC was repaired in 2 hours. Imagine living in 110 degree heat for 9 days! Shame on them. They lost my business.

Terrible customer service! Emergency issues are not handled promptly, repair contractors take DAYS and WEEKS to arrive. When we called about our flooding we were told 3 different directions from each person we spoke with, and then they denied saying it. Their contractors broke items in my home with their carelessness, causing more damage, more missed time from work, and more money.

Save your time and money and find a different home warranty provider. They contract out to their own company and are absolutly no help. Out of three appointments, two were no shows. I have been without an AC for over a week now in the middle of the summer. There is no urgency with this company.

Worst place to go,no technician over the weekend bad customer service,sometimes they are very rude they charge more in every service call they will rip you off, I suppose to pay $65.00 last time when my water heater broke down and they want to charge me $425.00 please stay away from them
