Posted on behalf of Kay Lunsford: Rick and I have truly enjoyed our association with Matt Kelly and his staff through the years. He has always been available to answer our questions and advise us when we have needed his expertise. We are pleased to have placed our personal insurances with State Farm. Though our claims have been few in the more than 30 years of our association with Matt, in a recent instance we believed our home had sustained roof damage. A simple phone call to Matt began the process which eventually confirmed and specified the extent of the damage. He put us in the hands of Tony Perry, who arranged for Derek Weiner, Claim Specialist, personally to assess our situation. Though Mr. Perry is located in Georgia, he orchestrated matters well, and Derek Weiner was meticulous in his assessment and very understandable in his explanation to us. Each of these professionals was at the top of his game in managing our issue and keeping us informed. We had a check in hand when Derek left and could arrange with John Beal Roofing to complete the roof and guttering in a timely manner. Matt Kelly and Cassie Roberts are very easy to work with. I first started working with them in 2006 when I bought my first home. No other insurance agent would insure my new home, it was a HUD home and needed a lot of work. Matt met me at the home, we sat down and made a plan of items that would need to be done within the first 30 days, then within 90 days and then 6 months. All items and their deadlines were very attainable and most were done early. He would stop by to check on the progress and see if I needed anything from him. It was refreshing. I then moved all my cars to State Farm. I recently bought a second home, Matt and Cassie have helped me figure out how to insure and be protected while renting my first home and getting my new home set up and covered as well. They are very easy to work with, nice to be a name and not just a number to them.

Matt has been my agent for over 10 years. I would recommend anyone shopping for insurance to contact Matt. State Farm has always provided me with competitive rates but their service stands far above all the others. If you want to talk to a call center when you have insurance questions feel free. Me, I want to talk to a person locally that knows me and my family and that understands our needs are different than others. Matt and his staff have always found a solution specific to me personally. Lastly, just to understand the level of appreciation I have for Matt, I have only ever endorsed a handful of business (my sons daycare being the other). I have been very pleased with Matt Kelly and Cassandra since I first contacted them for both home and auto insurance. I live in the Gladstone suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. They are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I was also able to experience the processing of a claim in my first year with State Farm. An auto accident that was not my fault resulted in my car begin totaled. They were quick to settle and even came to my work to finish the paperwork, so I could purchase another vehicle. They are still providing the paper work to the other insurance company which will complete my claim with no out of pocket expense for me. I have spoken to Cassandra several times and she is always helpful and responsive.
