John Willoughby was recommended to us back in 1996 with the purchase of our home. We have moved frequently and always look to John for guidance with our mortgages (8 but who’s counting!) His service is always fantastic from start to finish. John is simply the best mortgage broker we have ever known: most professional service, quick response, precise, honest, and concise answers, lowest rates, and a joy to work with. I have worked with John since 1987 when, as a real estate agent, he helped me get into my first house. Since that time, he has helped with the purchase of several homes as a mortgage lender. John has always been on top of the latest financing laws and regulations. He has a keen eye for details and is quick to spot missing documents ahead of time. He anticipates issues and does what is necessary to facilitate the purchase. Our most recent purchase was not particularly large, but was somewhat complicated by a delay on the closing of an existing home as well as possible alternate financing. John was patient and diligent in his work with us and we were able to close within two days of our original date. I have worked with John on a number of mortgage deals over the past 20 years and have been very happy with the work that he has done each time. He is completely honest and forthright and I have never had any surprises in working with John. He is also a very sensitive person and even made a special trip to help my wife and I close on a refinance deal on time when she was unexpectedly in the hospital on the designated date. John was more than helpful the entire process of getting our home loan. He even took time out of his personal home time and outside of business hours to accomodate us, when i couldnt talk he would text or email me and walked me through every little part of the entire process and even rushed to get in done in the timeframe myself and the seller needed it done. I wont go anywhere else in the future as long as John is still working. I would recommend him 10x over to anyone looking to buy a house, this was our first house purchase and i was dreading it but John made everything unvelievable easy.

I have dealt with other loan officers only to find out that they have hidden fees and possible jump in rate at closing, however with John everything was disclosed up front, plus he is very in tune with his clients and creates an atmosphere of cooperation and trust.
