We love the cracker barrel but in this location it made us think twice about coming here again. My husband ordered catfish but they ran out of rice so he ordered meatloaf the waiter asked my husband to change his order that they didn’t have any meatloaf either. We weren’t offered any biscuits to begin with then my soup came in a small bowl and super cold with . So we asked for regular bowl of hot soup not cold one plus our biscuits. My husband asked to bring him what they did have to eat, he ended up eating chicken and dumpling in a plate next to mashed potatoes, really chicken and dumplings in a plate I always eat them out of a bowl . They brought us small portions of old cold food leftovers. The waiter threw a fit over my sons order over cooking fresh macaroni, the one we had was a bit bitter, then when he finally brought out the food he had his thumb in my soup!! Uggg!! GROSSS!!! Nasty also I was sure I was missing some sausage from my plate, so I asked, does this come with sausage to? He looked at me weird and said ,oh no, just eggs and bacon by that point I wasn’t hungry anymore just mad we are new to the are so we spend like an hour looking for this place, so decided to walk around the store and calm down, while I looked at the menu to make sure that my order had sausage and it did!! So I talked to the manager!! He was even worse!! He dint want to listed to me to much he just said I’ll adjust your tab. So we paid 30.00 for old macaroni and cheese, cold mashed potatoes and dry chicken and dumplings, kids milk 2 strips of bacon and 3 eggs. but he did take off the soup, on the good side the cashier was really friendly and male hostess too he was giving me some tips on candles!! I think I will come back just to buy a candle, I will not give up on finding a good cracker barrel around here.

I will never eat at the junction city cracker barrel ever again. The only thing good is the food, though service was way below average. One day of eating there, my fiance and I were seated in the very back of the restaurant. No big deal, but every other table received their orders faster than we did, and they came into the store 15 to 30 minutes after us. We had to ask a different waitress/waiter to see about our food. The waiter assigned to our table offered no apologies even as we had to ask another waitress/waiter to refill our drinks.

INCREDIBLE customer service- I have never had a better customer service experience. I accidentally left my wallet while passing through here and the management was nice enough to call me and my credit card company to inform me- They even SHIPPED my wallet back to me FREE of charge. I could not believe my luck, I thought Customer Service was dead- not here! These people go above and beyond to ensure great customer service. And the food was delicious as well !!!

The worst Cracker Barrel I have been to. The good was subpar as was the service. Waitress nay have been new. We asked for biscuits and cornbread when we got our drunks ordered. They came less than minute before the meals arrived. The chicken fried steak and chicken we both cold, dry and flavorless. The gravy was cold and thick like paste. Very dispapointing. I would have rated it one but the waitress did try her best I think.

Update: i wrote a good review about this place last night but the morning when i work up i have these red bumps in my mouth and i read it could be caused by dirty bactire on items and not sure if it was caused by drininkg out the cups at this restaurant or what it is but i didnt have this issue until this morning. I will get it checked out and if it was caused by this restaraunt i would like to speak to a Manager

Sorry guys. I hate rating this low, but 2 people from our party got food poisoning from here. Both vomited profusely after eating at the Junction City location. Thankfully, they improved quickly after vomiting, and no other symptoms other than vomiting. But, something must be going wrong with sanitizing or food handling, for 2 people to get sick (we all ate different things).

I have been here twice, once with the family and once alone. Both times they got us seated almost immediately. The food is pretty well standard no matter which restaurant you eat at across the U.S., and the prices are extremely reasonable. Clean restaurant with very friendly service.

I really enjoyed my visit at Cracker Barrel. I would like to commen our two waitresses. They were very hospitable and pleasant. When other restaurant may be closing, I pray that this restaurant will stay open and continue there excellent service.

We ate dinner here with my soon to be mother in law, who just happens to be in a wheelchair. They helped us find a nice spot for her. The food was Awesome, it was a nice time. Thank you wait staff for your help. It meant a lot to us.

I was in here about a month ago and asked for pickles for my cheese burger they said that the discontinued them. Then I came in and ordered some fried apples they were disgusting even my grandma thought so.

Was disappointed in my chicken fried chicken but most of all was shocked that a lady was allowed to bring in her dog and hold it in her lap. I even saw the log licking the table. I will not go back

I have never had a negative experience here. The food is always good, and the service is as you would expect. My only suggestion is that you might not want to go on Sunday because of how busy it is.

Exactly what you expect. Fun store, good selection of comfort food, and solid service. Daily lunch specials also make it a good choice for a reasonably priced lunch out.
