Edward Blake was extremely rude, cut me off when at almost every sentence, and then just told me how much it would cost to hire him and then conversation was done. I would never recommend him to anyone, in fact I called the Illinois Lawyer Finder that told me about him to let them know what a jerk he was and will let anyone that needs a lawyer know to avoid this place like a black plague. I wish I could give zero stars!

I called Blake Law Group and was scheduled for a free consultation the very next day. I received information regarding my legal issue, what needed to be done, a time-frame for completion of work and an approximate amount of what the costs would be. Work was completed just how they said it would be. Very efficient law firm. I will return to them for any future legal issues I have.

Put a $1,000 deposit on a child custody case. Court appearance was reschedule 3 times and I had 3 different lawyers from this firm show up as my "lawyer" to the courthouse. Not 1 of them knew anything about my case. I was then sent a $3,000 bill and we never even seen a judge. The charges were for "paperwork" according to this scandalous firm.

I wanted to pay an attorney for 1 hour and get some advice on a tax issue. Was told the initial consultation was free. Only advice during the consultation was to tell me how high the fees were and no discussion until retainer was paid. Not a good experience at all. thanks for nothing,

I called this law firm for estate planning documents and they were prepared within a week. The price was very reasonable and my documents were finished and ready tremendously fast. This law firm is very professional but makes you feel comfortable when talking with their staff.

It was very difficult to get ahold of them unless i owed them money. I feel i would have been better off defending myself!! They bled me for money and in the end were less than helpful, BIG promises and very small results!

Needed an aggressive firm for my divorce/custody case, as my previous attorney lacked the ability to "fight". They did what was necessary, although the pricing is a bit high (even for attorneys).
