I wish I could provide 100 stars to this review. That is how appreciative I am of the Mr. Cavanaugh and the staff at his law office. My wife required an emergency document from the USCIS due to an unfortunate circumstance back home. Through phone calls to the USCIS office, I realized early in the morning that we would not able to receive this document. We decided to call a lawyer to fully understand the consequences of not having the document. We had the great fortune to find and choose Mr. Cavanaugh’s law firm from reading Google reviews. The receptionist was very understanding and was able to fit us in Mr. Cavanaugh’s schedule. Mr. Cavanaugh understood my wife’s issue and took immediate action to assist us with actually receiving the document that day. He was able to work with the USCIS (who were also amazing) and we were fortunate enough to receive the document that day. Not only is Mr. Cavanaugh professional and highly effective, he is also genuinely caring. I would also like to commend the incredible staff at the law firm who were able to assist us with providing required documents throughout the day. They went far above and beyond what was needed. I never in my wildest dreams felt we would be able to receive the much needed document. My wife and I are forever grateful to Mr. Cavanaugh and his staff.

The immigration system is very confusing to navigate on your own, lots of forms. Mr. Cavanaugh and his staff were very helpful from the first contact with a quick response to an email question. When I contacted the office to set up a consultation, they were very accomodating and explained the consultation process. When I met with Mr. Cavanaugh, he was very pleasant. Not like the typical lawyer types who sit arrogantly thinking they are better than you. Mr. Cavanaugh explained the process for filing not only the visa I was looking for but also what I needed to do once the visa was approved. I felt very comfortable with the decision to use Mr. Cavanaugh for all my immigration needs moving forward.

I had a terrible experience with this lawyer. He charged me a lot of money and did nothing for my case. He literally disappeared. I had faith in him because he seemed to care and said he could help me. But all he did was take my money. I call him every day and he does not take my calls unless I call from some other number.
