I am so grateful that I found the Berkowitz Law Group. I had filed bankruptcy with another St. Petersburg firm and had been given some bad legal advice which left me exposed and in danger of losing virtual all my possessions. At a critical juncture in the bankruptcy preceding the Trustee objected to a motion and a hearing was set up in front of the judge. The other law firm did not show up for the hearing in open court and I found myself facing the US Trustee, two other lawyers and a Judge who told me that I needed to find different representation as my current attorney was no longer able to continue to practice law. I was instructed to be back in court in 2 weeks. I called 3 law firms in Saint Petersburg and two refused to pick up my case and one could not see me for 2 weeks which was too late for the next hearing. Then things changed for me. I found the Berkowitz law firm. I called late in the afternoon around 5 pm and Attorney Jesse Berkowitz said he would meet with me the following morning at 9 am to discuss my situation. The next morning I met with Jesse and Jen who had my court documents and had an understanding of my situation. We discussed what happened with the previous attorney and what my goals were in the bankruptcy. We then developed a sound strategy to proceed with my case to get the outcome my wife and I was looking for. That afternoon Jesse called me to verbally inform me that our strategy had been executed and we had received a tentative favorable response from the Trustee and their legal team. Before the next appearance a settlement was reached and filed with the court. I cannot thank the Berkowitz Law firm for their professionalism, quick response, treating me as a priority and with respect in a very difficult situation. If you need legal representation do yourself a favor and get these guys on your team to represent you. You will not regret it!
