In 2015 I was issued a restraining order that was based on no fact of law or evidence. subsequently I was falsely accused of of a violation from third party contact and arrested. This ordeal was a very traumatic and very costly ordeal. The battle to prove my innocence was a long process and took over 2 1/2 years and three lawyers of which I fired after they mishandled my case. Then I was referred to office of Nicole Longton very skeptical after consults with numerous attorneys and actually retaining three separate lawyers and then having to dismiss them . I was devastated thinking I could in fact be convicted and face 2 1/2 years in prison and possibly having to go to jury trial. I spoke to Nicole explained my situation that I was a decorated Veteran never been convicted of any crimes and this could end my career and many years of Charity work . Nicole not only took my case immediately but set my mind at ease and assured me that I now would have the best representation possibly in The Massachusetts family court. Her professionalism and court presence was outstanding. she was thorough and very knowledgeable on the inner workings of the Massachusetts system.. I could not be happier with her representation and skill as an attorney she in fact saved my reputation My career and my ability to continue in my charity work. Nicole came highly recommended from one of the business attorneys I deal with regularly and she exceeded my expectations in every way. I was referred to Nicole Longton by a friend of mine who told me she was a good lawyer. I was charged with a felony that had the ability to ruin my life. I went to Nicole for help, and she came through for me beyond anything I could have hoped for. I was accused of leaving the scene of an injury accident, I wont get into the details of what occured, but a charge like that carries a possible jail sentence, as well as a felony record. Just being charged with a felony is enough to put a huge blemish on your record, and limit your possibilities. Thanks to Nicole and her detailed knowledge of the law, these charges were completely dismissed prior to arraignment, meaning no felony charges or convictions at all. I have a job right now that I have worked very hard for, and a fiance I look forward to marrying next fall. If not for Nicole I could have lost my job, my license, my clean record, and been sitting in jail instead of getting married. Not only was she effective at her job, but she was great to deal with. Nicole was always available and happy to answer questions, providing me with updates even over the weekends. My questions were always answered quickly and accurately. I met Nicole the morning of my arraignment at the Worcester courthouse back in April of 2013. I was facing several felony criminal charges, including, ditribution of a Class A substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class B and Class C substance, among others. I was lucky enough to be introduced to her in passing that morning and I can honestly say she quite literally saved my life. She agreed to do my arraignment for free and if i wanted her services she would be glad to take on my case. I had heard about her firm, and based on that knowledge as well as her willingness to help me on the fly that morning I already knew I was going to hire her. Nicole got the most seriouos of the 2 felony charges completely dismissed as well as getting the other 2 dropped down to substantially lesser charges. She was amazing. If you’re like you me you probably call five or more lawyers to find the one that best fits you personally and financially. I wish I could save you the time and tell you to hire Nicole Longton, but read her reviews, give her a call, and then decide for yourself. Nicole helped me out with a small legal problem that could have had huge consequences for me professionally. Although my issue was minor, she treated me like I was her top priority, and more importantly she was upfront with me about costs, and likely outcomes. In person, Nicole is kind, professional, and easy to talk to; in the court room Nicole is a pit bull! From the moment she got there, lawyers, police, and prosecutors were all coming over to shake her hand. It felt good having a well-respected and very knowledgeable lawyer by my side.
