When my husband and I decided to file our immigration application, it was my job to look for an immigration lawyer. I have just moved to California and pretty much don’t have any connection. Peter was among the 3 lawyers that I shortlisted based on my online research. I called for an appointment and his office was the most accommodating of our requested meeting schedule. My husband and I went to meet him. He was very congenial and straightforward. But he is awfully young and has not been in practice as long as the other 2 in my shortlist! But nonetheless we decided to retain him then, secretly crossing our fingers that we made the right choice. As it turned out, my husband and I are very happy and satisfied with the manner by which Peter handled our case within the last 3 months. He is details oriented and follows through with his commitments. He does follow up calls and emails when he says he will. He makes himself available for very early or late day meetings. He returns calls whenever necessary. And he came with us during our interview just as he promised during our first meeting. In short, he is most professional in his dealing with us. He was helpful and reassuring but at the same time is able to temper our expectations. I will retain him again if the need arises (hopefully not). I will certainly recommend him to family and friends to handle their cases. Also, I’m posting this review to help anyone who finds himself in a similar situation as I was in 3 months ago. I contacted Carson & Kyung Law Office when I became frustrated with the S Corp for my business that was not completed by the lawyer I hired. It was almost 4 months before I saw that the application for the business was filed and the name submitted was not the one I preferred. I paid the lawyer up front for the formation of an S Corp. That was not done. We met Atty. Trevor Carson and explained the reason why my husband and I came to talk to him. He explained thoroughly what he can do and we agreed that he will pursue with the S Corp and change the name of the business. He wrote everything he said and will do, in the contract and I signed. In 3 business days he called us, he completed the S Corp and in the next 3 days we had our first meeting of the corporation. He submitted the form to change the name and I will hear from him very soon. Atty. Carson is very knowledgeable, very thorough and explained every detail of the By Laws of the Corporation as well as the protocol in conducting a corporation meeting. He even made a simplified By Laws that is easy to understand. He is a very good lawyer who knows how and when to deliver his services on a very timely basis. He answers email fast. I highly recommend Atty Trevor Carson to anybody who has problems similar to ours. Keep up the good work!
