Raymond Hamilton

I attended this school, full time from the fall of 2012 thru the spring of 2015. I can honestly say that received a high quality education while attending this College. The professors are all very qualified to teach their perspective diciplines. My favorite professor by far was Professor Greybill. He does a magnificent job with the required history courses. I have been away from the school for a little while, and I really do miss it. Attending here first then moving on to a four year university is a smart move.

The classes are a bit tight to get into, but then so is a good place to eat! Most of the teachers are good and the degree is a great stepping stone if you want a BA or BS from other university. Most of all, its a lot cheaper then For-Profit schools cranking out useless degrees that dont transfer and no one seems to recognize or respect. Almost everything you take here will transfer if you decide to get a higher education at 1/10th the price.

I had such a great time attending SCC! I learned so much, and began to overcome my shyness there. I studied Cantonese there because I was bored with so many years of Spanish. My son passed away when I was attending, and the school was so supportive, they even started a memorial fund to help my family with expenses. I graduated with honors, in spite of the extreme sorrow and pain from my loss. I made many friends there too!

Love Sacramento City College, great teachers when I started my college journey. Sadly I moved to a different college, because of distance wise, traffic, and career programs. But I plan to come here on my last semester, since I started with SCC, and I want it to end at SCC with my Associates Degree for Fashion Apparel. ^_^

I just did a tour here today at 3. This place is very unorganized, I came here to look at the cosmetology program and the building was closed. They knew I came to see that program but no one knew much about the program at all.

Awesome college with aweosme teachers celebrating its 100th birthday this year (2016). Only bad thing is that the parking structure is very far away from the classes so be ready to walk alot.

It can be a challenge to get classes and find a good professor, but the relaxed environment and adequate student resources make up for it.

Excellent place for SCC Student to study and hang out. Many Events occur in this building, so be sure to check the on campus calendar.

Lots of original 1930s-era brick architecture. Extension courses mean anyone can still be a student again.

There are a lot of people on campus that are not students but hang around to try and convert students.
