Just when I thought I was the only one having issues with this company. In March of this year my husband and I purchased a brand new car. In April someone “insured” by this company hit our car. With my husband being the one driving of course they needed to talk to him and get his version of what happened. Unfortunately in July he was deployed. I had not heard from this company until August. As I opened the letter I finally had a name and number of someone to contact. I called the guy and as we were talking he says “Let me see who’s handling this claim. Oh, it’s me.” Like what in the world is really going on. He has me go through steps in using an app to take pictures of the damage our car incurred. I do so and just a week ago from today I get a letter from the appraisal company saying that the claim was denied. I look at the name on the claim and realized the person “insured” was not the person we got into the accident with. Yesterday my insurance calls me and says that they further reviewed the claim after receiving the letter of denial to find out the car at fault was not even insured. My insurance is now handling it. Today I receive a letter from Pro General saying they haven’t been able to reach me in regards to the claim and so forth. I call the number on the letter sent (which was a different person than the first time). The lady asks me if we had the car repaired and that they couldn’t do anything since they are unable to speak with my husband. I tell her that my insurance is handling the case because the car at fault was not insured. She goes on to say how she hasn’t talked to the party insured with them and they hadn’t received anything showing if the policy was active during that time. Yet she goes on and says just go on and get it handled through your insurance because if you don’t they’ll make you pay the deductible and so forth. They are extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, and just plain out a pain. Glad we had great insurance and it is finally being taken care of after 5 months.

DO NOT GET THIS INS COMPANY!! HAD TO RATE IT 1 STAR IN ORDER TO WRITE MY POST IT DESERVES ZERO... My son was involved in a hit and run 5 months ago (Sept 2016) and this Ins comp has yet to pay off the vehicle to the lien holder, we are now in Jan 2017...FULL COVERAGE was paid on this policy... It took them a month to just get an adjuster out to the shop to declare THE VEHICLE a total loss (btw the car was totaled and all 5 air bags where deployed no salvage possible) then my son was told he would have to pay for any days over 1 week that the car was as the shop because that is all the company will pay for.. keep in mind it took THE ADJUSTER 3 WEEKS OR MORE to get to the shop... now we have spent months getting the run around excuse after excuse as to why the vehicle has not been paid off yet.. in the mean time my son has had to continue to pay for a vehicle he does not have in order to NOT damage his credit ... horrible service, no call backs from claim adjuster Dennis Mango, no one in customer service knows how to give an answer, it is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE YOU WILL NOT WANT TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH... Now we are having to get a lawyer to resolve the incompetence of this so called "PRO" General Ins... BEWARE!!! FIND AN INSURANCE COMPANY WHERE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE AND GET THEIR JOB DONE! THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF AND A JOKE!

I was rear ended last month by a gentleman whom had Pro General Insurance. Getting ahold of them in the first place was a task, and once I finally did it was no better. They only offer reimbursement for any incurred expenses, which means I have now been paying for a rental for almost a month out of pocket, and tow/storage fees will all be out of pocket as well. Then to make it even worse, they finally issued a check yesterday which I was told will take 5-7 business days to receive, and the issue date is the cutoff for reimbursement. Meaning everything I still have to pay out of pocket until I receive the check and get a new car will not be reimbursed. I hope no one ever has to deal with them after an accident. The amount of stress this has caused me is beyond ridiculous. Update: Today I faxed over the reciept for the rental car which they told me they would reimburse, and was told that they would only cover $433 out of the $2359 I have had to pay out of pocket while waiting for a check from them for the vehicle damages. This company should not even be in business.

This company is awful complete garbage if you ask me... i got into a car accident in February of this year 2016 and now we are in june 2016 still havent gotten my car fixed no one can give me any right answers. The customer service is pitta full the company is nothing but a headache and pure garbage. The day of the accident it happened around 7am could not contact anyone until 9am. This insurance should be shut down. If i could i would close my policy and go some where but unfortunately i cant change anything until its closed. But if anyone is reading this please pick a different insurance company because if u wanna deal with a run around insurance please pick this one but if u want things done quick and with customer care pick a WAY BETTER INSURANCE COMPANY

BEWARE!!! HAVE CALLED EVERY DAY, LEFT VOICEMAILS, NEVER ONCE HEARD BACK FROM "ADJUSTER" OR ANYONE FROM THE COMPANY, ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK, CAR IS IN IMPOUND, GETTING LETTERS OF A LIEN BEING PLACED ON IT. FINALLY AFTER 8th TIME CALLING, THE REP SAYS "OH THERE IS NO RECORDS..." WHAT?! THEN TRANSFERRING ME AND TALKED TO THE "MANAGER" RON COMBS WHO WAS RAISING HIS VOICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH FINALLY SAID IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 24-48 HOURS, WHICH IS GOING ON 2 WEEKS FROM DATE OF ACCIDENT. VERY QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS/INSURANCE COMPANY, WILL UPDATE ON OUTCOME. IVE BEEN IN MAJOR PAIN SINCE THE REAR END ACCIDENT, AND THESE PEOPLE JUST MAKE IT WORST!

i HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT THE REASON THEY HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK TO ME IS BECAUSE THEIR CLIENT WOULD NOT GIVE THEM A STATEMENT, SO THEY COULD NOT START THEIR CLAIM. MY CAR WAS TOTALED FROM THEIR CLIENT, OCT 12,2016 AND THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS, OR ANYTHING. MY VEHICLE SAT IN THE TOW COMPANY, TO WHICH THEY PUT A LIEN ON IT, AND NOW HAS BEEN SOLD, AND THEY NEVER EVEN HAD AN ADJUSTER GO OUT AND LOOK AT MY VEHICLE. I AM GETTING AN ATTORNEY. Would be no stars if I could. Horrible, unethical, and employees have no clue what they are doing. Their client texting while driving came into our lane hit our lifted truck right in the 35" tire shot himself across 3 lanes of interstate and these idiots said no alignment or suspension could have been kick out of alignment. Chevy dealer says otherwise and the adjuster Anika seem to know better then the professional. Pray u never have to deal with Anika Alvarez or this company!!!!!!

dont use insurance company...I got hit by a car with a jackass driving with no insurance and PRO-GEN still took 3 weeks for me to drop off my car at a shop to get fixed and they wont return email to whatever collision center you chose taking extra money out you pocket for a rental..i was in a rental for 35 days and it was jumping through hoops trying to get them on phone to get 20 days back for reimbursement! they suck...closed on weekends and close at 5 every day sharp! 0 stars

I give NO stars but I had to click one so I could post the review. We were hit by someone that had insurance through this company in August 2016. We are still trying to get paid for our damages. They are refusing to pay us because they can not get a statement from the individual that they insured. They told me that is not how insurance works but yet they insured the individual at the time of the accident. I am contacting an attorney today and I am reporting them to the BBB.

This Company is very unprofessional. I was in an accident with one of their unlicensed drivers and now they are refusing to pay for damages on my vehicle. They need to have their credentials pulled and put out of business. The adjuster is Erica Alvarez and she needs to learn to be more professional.This will not let you post without rating a star which they do not deserve.

BE CAREFUL.....if you pay on time still you will receive letter that shows your policy canceled ..... they keep scaring you to pay their money always but if you want to claim ....they start paying you ..... Worst company ever... I cancelled my policy with them and they charge me anyways... they said they were going to send me a check to return the money that it would take 7 to 10 days.. Is have been a month after and still waiting.. everytime I call they tell me the same " its on its way" or "was send to the wrong address.. They are scammers...

Had a accident on Agust 26. I submitted a claim on the 27th of August and never received any assistance from the claims department that individuals name is Andrea whom was very rude the 2 times she did call. After a month my insurance was suspended and coverage was denied. Please

Alice their customer service representative was son helpful. She was able to fax us proof of coverage for a customer so they could leave in their new vehicle tonight. This eliminated the customer waiting two days to take customer home. Thanks Alice for your great service.
