If you’re interested in working with a professional in the mortgage lending business, look no further. The professionals at Academy Mortgage are just that. I had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Bryan Nuorala at Academy Mortgage. Prior to working with Bryan I worked with another lender, who may I say was less than professional, and gave me the run around because of the (IBR) Income based student loans I have. This lender was clueless on how to calculate my debt to income ratio, insisting that I had a unique situation, so after a month of attempting to educate them about my IBR student loan, I sought another lender and found Bryan, hallelujah. Bryan told me to start celebrating; I would be a home owner in no time. The unique situation (IBR loan) as described by other lender said was not unique at all. Bryan was knowledgeable about the IBR student loans and calculating my debt to income was a standard practice. Bryan is in class by himself, very personable, taking the time to educate, while following up and being prompt and having a sense of humor throughout the process. Best yet, Bryan is very knowledgeable about the down payment programs and found a down payment program to fit my needs. I had a pre-qual in no time. When the title company called me to close on my home, I almost passed out when they told me not to bring any monies and that I would be receiving monies at closing. This was icing on the cake and a true blessing. Thank you Bryan and Academy mortgage.
