I found Tom online and independently without being referred or ever hearing about his legal services. I had been searching for an attorney to handle my trademark needs for my company. My process of identifying professionals I’m comfortable working with and also trust, is tedious and time consuming. While sifting through many leads and options, I eventually met Tom at his office for a consultation. Tom was accommodating, informative and very professional right from the start. I walked out with a good feeling about Tom and decided to begin working with him shortly after our initial meeting. My experience since has been nothing short of fantastic. Being a United States Marine, I have an extremely high attention to detail and really appreciated how Tom explained the entire process to me and gave me straightforward answers to all my questions and concerns. The care I received made me feel I was strategizing with a business partner who shared all my end goals and objectives. In addition to that, his fee schedule and service charging methods were upfront, reasonable and affordable. I am a retired attorney who practiced for over thirty years before retirement. After retirement, I had an idea that I thought had utility and market potential, but I knew that patent law was a very specialized and esoteric area of legal practice. Therefore, I knew it would not be wise for me to attempt to patent my invention on my own. After a search, I found Tom Galvani´s website and was impressed by what I saw regarding Tom´s background and experience, and also by what a useful and informative website he had built. Sun Valley Masonry, Inc. recently retained the services of Galvani Legal to research the possibility of patent retention for one of our ideas. Mr. Galvani was very professional, forthright and knowledgeable with regard to patent acquisition. His explanation was very consise and understandable, which for us was significant as we had never been involved in the patent process before. Although at this point we have not pursued our patent; we will undoubtably contact Mr. Galvani should we get to the point where our idea is likely to past the muster of the Patent Office.
