My wife needed help getting her S.S.D.I. approved. She was at her appeal stage where she needed to appear before a trial Judge. We picked Mr. Schiffman out of the blue, and we are sure lucky that we did. Mr. Schiffman took the time to listen to my wife regarding her medical, emotional and psychological issues regarding being forced to stop work at a job that she dearly loved performing. Mr. Schiffman agreed to take on her case. He walked us through the entire procedure including what information he would need. He also took time to prepare her for what might occur when she would testify before the Judge. Mr. Schiffman helped her every step of the way and never did he stop being her advocate. Mr. Schiffman was successful in getting my wife awarded her S.S.D.I.. Mr. Schiffman then took on the Long Term Disability Insurance provider who also had denied my wife. Mr. Schiffman was again successful in getting my wife awarded her L.T.D. benefit. He remains today our lawyer and whenever we have a need, he has been available to us at all hours of the day. He has even answered e-mail questions at 9:00 at night. Mr. Schiffman is the best !!!

On my initial appointment, I was very scared as I have never met with an attorney for any matter. I was received on time with a pleasant smile from the moment I arrived. I contacted the Schiffman Puig Law firm for assistance with a SS Disability claim. During my meeting with Mr. Alan Schiffman, he was able to straighten out the status of my claim with SS. In doing so he was able to make a reasonable determination that the reconsideration request with SS already submitted had been approved. Furthermore, Mr. Schiffman believed it unethical and wrong to officially represent me and take a fee since the reconsideration request had already been approved. His honesty and objectivity are hard to find. The firms expertise and knowledge alleviated a substantial amount of stress and I would not hesitate to use or recommend their counsel.
