I have had dealings with Cornerstone at every level of their organization: from personal accounts that i lost track of that were turned over to them, merchant services, to small business and corporate collection account management. I have found them, at least in my experience, to be very responsive and pleasant to deal with. When I have been notified of accounts they are in receipt of, that they believe me to be responsible for, I am upfront at dealing with them. I make sure they have good contact information for me - especially if I am trying to dispute an account. Many of the reviewers seem to have issues with notice. I would be willing to bet none of them probably call companies like cornerstone preemptively, ensuring they have their contact information (address, phone number etc), which would in turn guarantee they are notified if and when the company gets something with their name on it. This has always worked for me, you will probably get a better reception when the collector does not have to spend hours skip tracing you before finally making contact.

These guys claimed they "called" me...Just for everyones sake, when they "call" it shows up unavailable so there is no way of returning the call nor do they leave a damn message....which by the way they only call once so by all means...if you work or got kids or have any type of life in which you cannot always get to your phone, then your screwed. They claim they cannot remove it from your report...bullcrap, they did it for me about 2 years ago on a 31$ charge that snuck up over a final GCI bill. These people are rude as hell, and they treat you like your stupid. BBB...eventually something has to be done, crap cannot just come up on someone after they move. How was I suppose to know I had to update my address with all my past closed accounts??? Really...FT

Horrible evil strongarm tactics that ought to be illegal. I had been sick. I was working as hard as I could to get back on my feet. I was vulnerable, and some of their employees should have been put behind bars for the way they treated me. If I ever find out that one of my medical providers uses this company I will immediately seek out another provider. I would consider it a public service to put Cornerstone out of business.

Incompetent employees cost us thousands of dollars needlessly. We spent months and then years waiting for them to collect on several of our accounts and then finally changed their entire pricing structure and now want us to pay a third of the cost for collecting on money that people owe us. Absolutely horrible, in my opinion. Any competent bill collection companies out there? We need a new one.

I just recieved a call from a gentleman who actually talked to me with respect, if your other people would have done that instead of harassing a veteran with anxiety issues and history of panic attacks i would have willingly made payments, so now after 2 years of not seeing a cent due to some blatant extortionists, a simple display of manners will see you get your money.

These people are beyond RUDE. Professionally unscrupulous ...badgering and pressuring elderly and disabled persons to buy their services. Representatives refuse to give their last names or telephone numbers in order to return their calls. They will not allow you to talk to a supervisor. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these SHYSTERS!

Andy and Shawn in collection has always tried to help and resolve any issues you may have. They work as though they are part of a credit counseling resolution versus just a debt collector. My advise would be work them two if anything!
