Right from the beginning Kit Bate was very helpful, he explained everything in laymans terms. He spent quality time with us breaking down numbers and playing out different scenarios so we could choose the best option that would fit for our life. This was our first home buying experience and I was extremely satisfied with both Kit Bate And Cary Bate. They treated us with the utmost Respect regardless of our credit or price range of the home we were looking for. They always stayed in touch and kept us up to date of where we were in the process. I never feel alone, lost, out of the loop or confused at all during the process as they were always there to answer the phone and our questions or would call us back immediately upon return if they were currently of the office. Alexa, Kit and Cary were all extremely professional yet personable to ensure we felt comfortable and stayed informed throughout the entire process. I am grateful to have had them there for us as it was a long frustrating process waiting for the seller to complete repairs. I really appreciated their attention and focus they kept on us by keeping in contact with me with every update. I will be recommending Academy Mortgage to friends, family, and co-workers in the future and will definitely be recommending they work with Kit and Cary. Thanks for everything the entire team at Academy mortgage did for us to make our first home buying experience wonderful and stress free!

We are first-time home buyers. We knew a little about the buying process, but not having bought a home, we were still very naïve. We were placed into a situation where we needed to find and buy a home fairly quickly. From start to finish, Academy Mortgage kept in constant contact with us as we went through each stage of the buying and lending process. They were able to act quickly when unforeseen circumstances arose and resolve them in a timely manner. Both Kit and Cary Bates were fantastic to work with. Cary called me once a week or more letting us know where we stood and what to expect next. Academy Mortgage was fabulous working alongside our real estate agent. Academy Mortgage made our buying experience awesome.

However, Mike made us feel informed and at ease as we navigated the process.
