The claims dept. Is a joke. My vehicle was parked when a Erie client hit my vehicle, and ran off on foot (hit&run). The police dept. Checked and it wasnt stolen (so it was either the driver or a member of the family). I filed a claim a couple days after it happened (almost 1 month has gone by). The appraiser came out to look at my vehicle almost 2 weeks ago. However, because of the lack of consistency on behalf of Erie they still have been unable to get ahold of the policy holder after "attempts" by mail and phone. So..... Erie keeps telling me that until they get ahold of the policy holder to hear his side they can not write me a check for the damage done to my vehicle which was clearly the policy holders fault. This is poor business on behalf of Erie and i would not recommend anyone to get insurance through this company.

They were wonderful to me. I had hail damage and tornado damage to my car and truck. They we out here right away to look at my house and three days later someone hit my car and I went into a guardrail head on. I was in the hospital and before I got out I already had a rental car. I got my house fixed and my car was totaled so I had to get a different one. The money was there for me to get another car. I will always have Erie Insurance I let everyone know how great I was treated.

Very dissatisfied with Erie insurance. Was not informed when my rental was no longer covered, poor communication, neglectful. Very hard to get a hold of management. They dont care about people, they only care about money.

Must be one of the worst insurance companies to settle in a claim!! 6 months since one of Erie Insurance clients hit our car. My car still has damage and we are always told that they are waiting on The police report.

Submitted a quote; they left me eight voicemails in 11 days. Very annoying!! I wasn’t ready to talk with them, I was merely checking rates online. One or two calls would have been enough; eight is way too many.

I have spent the past 9 month trying to correct a Erie Insurance administrative error. Their error is still uncorrected. This place is a black hole. Stay away. Far, far, away.
