After losing my husband in a fatal car accident in which he was a passenger, Wayne Hawn was recommended to me by my sister. At that time I had no intention of pursuing a wrongful death suit. It sounded like I would be consumed by the legalities of dealing with the suit along with trying to cope with my husband’s death, work and family. My sister was insistent that I at least make a phone call, so I did. After talking with Wayne, I was pleasantly surprised. The sympathy, and concern he showed me was genuine. After our first conversation I was put at ease and was assured that there would be very little that I myself would actually have to do. Since I lived in Portland this whole case was handling mostly through email. I did have to meet with Wayne once, and he was the one who made the trip up to Portland to see me. Wayne was exceptionally easy to understand, and would patiently explanation anything that I questioned. The settlement was in our favor and the case was closed within a year. I hired Bruce Brothers for injuries I received in a fatal car accident in which I was a passanger. After discovering the driver was not covered I sought coverage through my own insurance which covered personal injury protection and underinsured motorist protection. My own insurance company denied coverage and I was forced to pursue litigation during a very troubling time in my life while I was still grieving over the loss of a very good friend of mine. Bruce and his team fought hard for me and we received a favorable settlement that covered all my past and future expenses for physical therapy, counseling and lost wages. Bruce also argued for a pain and suffering verdict, which he won. I have referred multiple cases since this incident to Brothers, Hawn & Coughlin, all of which have also had very satisfactory results with his firm. I spent a year fighting with my health insurance company over a very large medical claim due to a serious accident. I pursued every avenue I could think of, including the state insurance commission - all to no avail. It was so refreshing when I finally sought representation from Wayne Hawn, because for the first time I felt that I really had an ally. Furthermore, his fees were very, very reasonable - and to cap it all off he is a downright nice guy! I came to meet Wayne hawn after an accident at a business that left me with 2 broken legs. 3 surgeries and years of pain... That was at fault of the business. Wayne got me into see him quickly. The office is like a little house looking building and is very inviting once inside. The staff were always very friendly and attentive both in person and on the phone. Wayne himself was to.... Phone calls and emails were replied to within about 5 or so normally. He was always very clear on everuthinf and more then Happy to answer any questions I had even the kind dumb ones he kept me informed of ever step along the way . over all he was a pleasure to have worked with and so glad in found a trustworthy lawyer who did exactly what he said he would do.
