I called about a bill I received after taking my 6 week old son to the ER for a fever. As a new parent, I was very scared and I brought him there out of extreme caution. When I called to inquire about the exorbitant bill, the woman from BCBSNM on the phone said I should not have brought my son there unless he was LITERALLY dying. Is this their idea of "customer service"? I could write a whole book about all of the other times I have called there, but this was beyond insensitive.

Yikes! Worst health care experience ever. These jokers did nothing but waste my time, lose my check, and take my social security number. No one ever owned up to their mistakes. The incompetence with something so simple makes me concerned about trusting them with anything else, especially my health. I will not be re-applying for coverage with these quacks any time soon, if ever.

Called three days in a row trying to speak To someone about my coverage and got left on hold for very long periods at a time. Do they only have one person working there? Sheesh. *update* got through to the woman to direct my call and she could care less about her job and was very rude.
