I submitted an inquiry for general information via Haskell Law Firm’s website, and I received a very timely e-mail reply from Attorney & Owner Kory K. Shimek. From there an initial, no-obligation and free consultation was arranged - one in which Kory agreeably stayed late in his office for, on a Friday evening, just so that he could accommodate the conflicting work schedules among my family. And the hourly rate quoted during the meeting was a very fair price for the services we had been discussing. During the consultation as well as all throughout the case, Kory was polished and professional in conduct and presentation. I found him to be impressive and simultaneously extremely personable, friendly, and likable. From start to finish Kory was providing or obtaining answers for me so that I remained apprised of any and all updates. His response time to e-mail correspondence and / or phone calls continued to be excellent, and his efficiency, professionalism, and kindness remained consistent. I respected that the billing was itemized and that it was provided to me at regular intervals – allowing me to always be aware of what efforts and expenses had been made on my behalf and what my financial obligations were for this skilled assistance. The day of our court hearing Kory was early. We had ample time, had we needed it, to ask any last minute questions. Subsequent to the hearing Kory explained what would follow, how long it would take, and when to expect him to make contact with us again so we could finalize any remaining details. Personally, I couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend Kory K. Shimek for his knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail, pricing, timeliness, follow-up, flexibility, and kindness. It was an honor and a privilege to do business with such a hard-working gentleman. I will confidently trust his capabilities again with any of my legal needs and recommend him to family and friends. I was looking for a decent divorce attorney ,but many that crossed my path made me feel like it was all about them, so I kept searching and had an interview with this law firm, the moment I stepped into the office and had my first conversation with the receptionist Jennifer,she was very pleasant and informative , to scheduling a meeting with one of the attorneys by the name of Lora, I explained my situation and my concerns and she made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions and not one moment did I feel like anything went unanswered, I also had the opportunity to have Kory defend me on one of my court dates ,when Lora could not be present. The team work is great both very attentive ,both kept me informed and also they were both on the same page with all details, I would highly recommend this law firm, anyone can represent you, but whats important that they make you feel like your voice is being heard specially in divorce situations . We had a really tough adoption case. We have a special needs child and could not find the father to get the parental rights terminated. Our son is very sick and just wanted a dad. Haskell Law took our case and went above and beyond to make this dream a reality for us and my son. It was not an easy task, there were many loop holes to go through. i was recommend to Haskell Law Offices a few years ago, knowing nothing about how to go about my court issues, I set up an appointemt and could not have been happier with how they represent and keep me well informed of what is going on with my case. I have called for the most silliest questions and the receptionist is so sweet and answers what she can for me, or will have an attorney call me back as soon as poosible, which is within 24 hours. I would and have recommend Haskell Law Office to anyone! THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK :) KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! :)

You meet with the Lawyer and you never speak to them again or do they even seem to have much to do with your case..(Bankruptcy) They only give the terms and the cost and have the guy in office do all the work. Cheap to file with them..but you get very little personal service with the Husband, Wife Lawyers. And its up to you to print all your Credit reports and List everything you owe on all your worksheets they hand you. Not impressed with the professionalism. Girl at office is unfriendly and not welcoming.

What a joke,1st consultantion sounded promising with the owner, since I knew it was going to be a nasty seperation.. It was passed off to very inexperienced attorney that was fumbling thru court orders in front of a judge.. Very unprepared, showed up late several times..never returned phone calls, . Dont waste your money... Go somewhere else.
