We got quotes from 2 mortgage companies and 2 credit unions before settling with Academy Mortgage. Sam Rosenblatt had great communication in explaining laws and the related paperwork and was always very fast responding to any questions. Academy Mortgage was also great in helping us navigate a surprise that came up in the sale. The sellers did not believe the house was in a flood zone, but a flood zone alert came up in the title process. Sam suggested a bit more research before asking us to buy flood insurance, and that research revealed only a small part of the property was in the flood zone and not the actual house. We were very grateful for the second look!
