Over a month ago, I began the process of working with your company to handle a broken hot water heater that leaked and ruined my kitchen floor, as well as a kitchen wall. You quickly sent in Moore Restoration to mange the damages and to dry everything out. Since that time, i have left countless voicemails with our claims manager, Daniel Tanuary (sp?) to no avail. I have spoken to Daniel one time, when I called the claims department directly last Wednesday and demanded to speak to a living person. I was promptly transferred to Daniel, who picked up, even though I had called him directly a moment before and was sent to voicemail. At that time he assured me that he was working on our case and that he would have an answer for me and would contact me within 24 hours. 24 hours came and went, 36 hours came and went, the weekend came and went, Monday and Tuesday or this week came and went. Nothing. I called Daniel this morning and of course it went to voicemail. I then called his supervisor, April , and left her a voicemail, as well. Still nothing. I have been speaking with Erica Graham, at Moore Restoration, as she is trying to submit the estimate, and I know that she has left voicemails and reached out on my behalf, as well. I am not trying to be difficult, but i have honestly reached the end of my patience. I have been without a floor for weeks. I have holes in my walls. If I felt that ASI was doing their part to communicate with me and that our case was being worked on, I could deal with the amount of time this has taken. However, this has not been my experience. I have never dealt with a company that has provided such poor and dismissive customer service. It is utterly unacceptable.

ASI was our homeowners insurance carrier until today. I had a roof severely damaged by wind. I made a claim, and the company sent out a contracted adjuster, because a hail storm in the area soon after my claim was made kept the ASI adjusters too busy to come. The contract adjuster disregarded water damage inside of our house that occurred after our roof was damaged. The adjuster also deemed that only four squares on our roof needed repair. I received several estimates, and all the roofing companies that checked our roof would only warranty the roof if they could replace up to the ridgeline, because the authorized piecemeal repairs would open up our roof to more damage when the next big storm hit. We went round and round with the company representative, Matthew Kurkowski, regarding this because we felt that the claim was not being handled properly. My wife and I ended up paying for the back half of our roof to be repaired out of pocket, a 22 square re-roof. We were not asking for a complete roof, we just wanted the claim to authorize a proper repair on our roof. After spending $6000 out of pocket to repair the damage correctly, we canceled our policy because we do not feel the need to send our hard-earned money to a company that does not care to repair damage on structures they insure.

Do not consider this company for any reason. Stated i had items on my house that were incorrect and had to be changed to be insured when my security cameras do not show the inspector even looking at these items. The staff is rude and will not return e-mails or phone calls. It takes nearly 2 weeks to resolve an issue that could be finished in a five minute phone call. Alayna Novacheck was nice in the beginning, but obviously had little to no knowledge about what the inspector saw and about home insurance in general. Progressive referred me to this company and after such and awful experience i cancelled all of my policies with Progressive and their affiliates.

I have been trying in vane to get my name removed from the my old policy since Aug of 2016 and it is now Apr 2017. I have contacted the agents at 1st Capital Insurance in Tampa (3) times and I have also contacted ASI as well. I no longer reside or own the residence and it was verified on my last call and I was assured that my name would be removed and the address changed. Well it was not and the policy was cancelled due to lack of payment. They said they could not do anything to change the policy when it was their decision to change the mailing address without permission from me!

HIGH REVIEWS LEFT BY AGENTS NOT CONSUMERS. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! My premium increased by $150 after one year and a small claim from a bathroom leak three months after moving in. New claim from leak in attic and the discovery of mold led to an adjuster coming out the day BEFORE the expert and saying that issue was something else. The agent Joshua was utterly disrespectful by cutting me off, telling me he had other claims to worry about, and then telling me to fix the problems myself. I will be shopping for new insurance right after this rating.

I have roof damage and water damage from a hail storm from back in February 22nd. It has been ridiculous waiting for them to get any thing done. I got my first check paid the roofing company. My roofer saw some things that the adjuster missed that my foof needs and now its been under review for the past 2 weeks! Todays date is April 15th! We have more bad weather coming and my roof isnt fixed! I know people with other insurance companies and their roof was fixed a week after the storm hit! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ASI.

I made the mistake of slipping my wife has stage 4 cancer and because the job requires travel which I am very willing to do and have done for 10 years they did not hire me. The position has been open for 6 months. Shame on ASI HR AND CEO. I would have been one of their best employees. As have have been with my previous company.

If I could give a zero I would. This companies moral standards are ATROCIOUS. Anyone who works for them should be ASHAMED. They cancelled my home insurance because I have a "mixed breed" dog. I showed them his vet records where the veterinarian labeled him a "mixed breed". A rescue dog with 3 legs who is a certified emotional support dog as I have PTSD. And they CANCEL my insurance! SHAME ON YOU ASI! This type of discrimination should be illegal.

They are phenomenal when it comes to claims and customer service. I have never had to get involved like I do with other carriers when I think a client is being treated unfairly. The claim was the least stressful part of this entire process of getting my home back up to snuff. The contractor had submitted a payment request for some overages that were not in the original estimate. No fuss from my agent.

Worst experiences in handling a claim. I was told claim was closed and denied because it did not reach the deductible amount. Fast forward a week, got a letter saying my roof need to be fix or they will drop my coverage. Currently roof is leaking . Spoke to someone who just hang up on me.Will be speaking to a lawyer about this matter soon
