When I got a new job in Gainesville, FL, I had to commute from Tampa (2 hours) while I looked for a my first house to purchase. I bank with USAA and thought it would be easier to obtain a mortgage with them since they have always been so helpful in the past. However, they were very unhelpful and THE DAY before I was scheduled to close on the house they called me AN HOUR BEFORE my final walk through to tell me the loan did not go through. I had already given my apartment notice of my move out day and everything! I contacted my realtor to let her know and within an hour Mark called me to see how he could help. He and Katie Martin were so helpful and explained the whole process in terms I was able to understand as a new home buyer. They worked extremely hard to help get me into my new house and they had me approved and into my new house within 2 weeks of when I was supposed to close with USAA. I cannot say enough of how helpful and understanding Mark and his team were. Though I do not hope to go through this process anytime soon, I would highly recommend Landmark to anyone about to go through the home buying process! Thanks again Mark!

Wow, how do I describe the lender that always gives us a clear to close? Sue Albritton and her team at Landmark Mortgage Planners are the BEST. I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker MM Parrish and have sent many loans to Sue. She responds quickly and efficiently with my clients and they love her for that. We have many first time homebuyers and Sue is great at explaining every detail so they will understand the loan process. She always answers calls/texts any time of the day or night for clients and myself. The entire Landmark team is great with communicating and keeps everyone up on the process. We were first time home buyers and Landmark made the process about as easy as can be imagined. We worked with Marc Spiwak and he was awesome - met with us when we had lots of questions, helped walk us through the whole process, gave us contacts for insurance and helped with gathering all the loan documents. He even got us a pre-approval letter while he was on vacation with his family! We also worked with Katey Martin to get all of our loan documents and she was very pleasant and responsive to work with and helped us deal with little curve balls we threw at them along the way. We were very pleased with our experience with them and highly recommend them.
