Dress very nice and relaxing camping chapter gives a feeling of rest comfortably enough in nature. Is walking to or near the trail of an appropriate length distance can go to three or bicycle, dealing him a large campsite where Wi-Fi and a good job. 0 won naeeseon data burst rarely it is a very important factor. Many toilets in some places, dump station also said there two or free. General Store where a coin laundry and even a cafe with good atmosphere, there is also much less well as a shower which is very clean and there are management can use to open all campers do. Well there is one kind of did the order come here to hang a shower at the campsite autumn come by car. Inexpensive at about $ 30 a furnace hook-up will forego well. To start of the trail at the outdoor venue Parking Point Lookout Trail is a trail worth danyeool lightly some exercise in the morning. I recommend it.

This place is amazing! We had a wonderful, secluded spot in the tent-only area. Beautiful, good facilities. But the best part was the SERVICE. On our second night, there were heavy thunderstorms in the early evening, with more predicted that night. Since we have fair-weather gear, we decided to move on and head to a hotel instead. The woman (manager?) at Morefield camp store was AMAZING. She helped us look up the forecast, refunded our tent fee for the night, helped us find a hotel in Cortez, and then when my daughter was upset that our leaving would mean not being able to finish the Park scavenger hunt, she gave my daughter a scavenger hunt prize anyway. She was incredibly kind and helpful and I WISH I knew her name so that I could give her the proper shout out that she deserves. When we come to Mesa Verde again (and we will!), we will definitely stay at this campground again.

Moorefield Campground puts you as close as you can be to the ruins at Mesa Verde. Visit the website to reserve a full hookup site. Plenty of no hookup sites so you could probably just walkup and get one. We scored a full hook up site for our RV and it was level. Very scenic area with lots of wildlife. We had a few deer right next to our trailer when we woke up. The camp store is well supplied. There is also a gas station at the campground. Everything we seen was very clean and there was no trash around. Mesa Verde is very big so expect to spend much time traveling between attractions. Buy your tickets the day or two before for the Cliff Palace and other paid Ranger lead hikes. There is also much to for free also. Just overestimate the time needed.

The campsites are distanced from the initial visitor center, grocery store, bathrooms/showers. There were multiple loops of campsites with lots of wildlife and trees. Our campsite had a little place for a tent, campfire, and we were close to a bathroom house that they have for each loop. Each night they have a ranger speak about different things at the little Amphitheater. And the little restaurant in the visitor center area has an all you can eat pancake breakfast every morning. The pancakes are huge and very delicious! Overall, we had a wonderful time! So pretty, so unique, great people, and very clean facilities.

This is a really nice campsite. There is a gift shop, a cafe, and free showers near by. There is also free Wi-fi although I could never connect to it. The bathrooms are flush toilets and are CLEAN and smell GOOD. The campsites are clean and tidy and staff is very clear with their directions to avoid negative wildlife encounters. There is a 10 mile hike that starts at the campsite called Prater ridge and its an AWESOME hike. This place is definitely visit on your list if you love national parks.

The campground itself is amazing. The stars were beautiful and the grounds well kept. The showers near the store were gross. They were slippery, dark cells. I worried about older people slipping and hitting their heads. No one would know or be able to help. If you plan on touring the park with the Ranger, get your tickets the day before at the museum before heading up toward the campground. The ranger failed to mention this to us so we drove all the way down to find the tickets sold out.

Does not allow 50% discount on camping for disabled persons with access pass. Your national parks have been sold out to corporations. Shame on Aramark!! Your presence is not welcome on our federal lands. We are veterans, we love our national parks, Aramark should have no right to run these places.

To expensive! We stayed there for 1 night on a tent site. Plus: privat tentsite, quiet. Minus: old restrooms without soap, just cold water, fire pit full of mud and trash-havent been cleaned for a long time and when we were there it was the beginning of season...

Great campground! Bathrooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot. All the staff and rangers we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We saw several deer inside the campground also. The park is beautiful and it is so worth it to stay here.

Huge Campground with sites that are pretty decent. Lots of bathroom facilities spread around. The store is open pretty late and the staff are great. Free showers is a rarity for nps campgrounds. Older facilities across the board but nice enough.

We enjoyed our stay here during our visit to Mesa Verde. Pretty large spots and had no problem getting into with our travel trailer. Like many of the park system campgrounds this one is a little run down and could use more maintenance.

The campground is unique in that the elevation is not flat, and the campsites were planned based on this change making each site both unique to the park and also slightly more private. Great place to camp!

We loved our experience here! Very quiet, and great campsites. The host was friendly. The reservation was slightly confusing if you book in advance. Otherwise great campground.

Quiet despite being busy, good amenities, good location. More expensive than some campgrounds, but average price for being inside a National Park.

Clean campground, right in Mesa Verde. The only complaint: the showers are very primitave with not much hot water. Other than that, great.
