My experience with 1st California Law has been entirely positive so far. I found the firm through several attorney referral services online. I first spoke to Kevin on the phone, then through email, and eventually in person. Kevin has been a constant professional and always kept the lines of communication of open. I was afraid that because the firm specializes in bankruptcy, my case would not be worthwhile. I did not need or want to file bankruptcy. I wanted help with paying off a judgment as well as stopping a garnishment. Kevin actually advised me that this is something I could do myself. Right off, I already truly appreciated his honesty. However, I think he could tell by talking to me that I was wary of paying off such a large sum of money (to me) and not getting the correct paperwork in return. Kevin took the time to explain my options and really helped to put me at ease. I know the opposing attorneys Kevin had to deal with are not easy, because the previous attorney I retained had basically given up when the opposing firm failed to respond. I really feel like 1st California Law would be a great asset to any consumer in need of debt relief services. I would not hesitate to refer any friends and family to Kevin if there was a need.

The decision to file for bankruptcy was a hard one to come to. Just the thought of it made us sick to our stomachs. When we first met with Kevin we had so many questions. With his experience, Kevin was able to answer those questions in a manner which made the answers easier to understand. He was able to educate us on the general process and procedure. When it was time for our trustee hearing, Kevin was there early to meet us, calmed our nerves and sat with as we met with the trustee. Kevin made the hardest decision we have ever had to make, one of the easiest transactions we have ever gone through. Thank you for the fresh start to the rest of our lives.

Kevin was very easy to work with and answered all my questions about Ch. 7. He worked fast to stop my creditors from seizing my assets. He prepared me well for the court hearing and when it came time for the 341 hearing, it was very quick and easy. I must say that Kevin was very laid back when I first called him, and offered up good information. Most other attorneys I called would do the "hard sell" technique of giving you little tidbits of information, but want you to come in and pay for a consultation. Kevin made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. I finally got my BK discharge. Everything went according what Kevin told me.
