My wife and I were referred to West Coast Funding by a company that assisted us in updating our credit scores. Our end goal was to refinance our home. I made a call to West Coast Funding on my way to pick up my grandson from school and was connected with George Magana. My occupation is sales and I commonly speak with executives in various industries. I was immediately at ease finding George unusually easy to converse with. By the time I completed the 4 mile round trip to pick up my grandson George had explained the entire process to me including the timeline, (about 5 weeks) from start to finish. He provided a very accurate assessment of the equity we had in our home along with the interest rate we probably would qualify for. I looked over two months to find someone to refinance our house so that we could put a new roof on. Just a word to the wise if you need a new roof most lenders will not refinance you because you do not have a good roof you have to have a good to refinance. Yeah it is a catch 22. Teena Broumand was willing to put the money in an escrow account something ever other loan officer I talked to did not even mention. Teena Broumand is a professional in every sense of the word. She is extremely personable, asks the right questions, possesses an expert knowledge of the lending process. Jordan V. was more patient and understanding, I wanted to refi my first and second loans into one 30 yr. fix, And he made it happen, we nearly lost our home not once but twice in the last 12 years we been in it, do to the economy, we somehow managed to survive. I was very skeptical and I can not tell you the concerns I had with just choosing any lender. Jordan answered the tough questions, the obvious questions, and probably a few silly questions, in other words he made me feel comfortable in everything we were doing. 30yr fix at 3.75%, it took some time, but we finally closed, and even got a little cash back. This has been the worst loan process I have ever been in. It is hard enough to get the paperwork once but with them I had to get it several times because they said they never got it. After the 4 th month we did some research on them and found out there loan processor is not licensed. No background check and she (Lisa) had all of my information including bank records, all of my account numbers, and social security numbers. I have spoke with the dept. of R.E. and they indicated they may be committing fraud. I am a Veteren and I think I deserve better than this so I went to a legitimate company with honest people.
