James represented me in a Possesion / Disordely case. It would have effected my Security Clearence to participate in Military Contracts, possible probation, lose of licenses, and yes, even jail time. James was able to have one charge dropped and the other reduced to "Paraphernalia" . Knowledge and experience have an incredible advantage in the Legal Industry and James posses both as he has experience as a State Prosecutor now Criminal Defense Attorney. Excellent Outcome!! Mr. Short helped us with a speeding violation that would have been a reckless driviing by speed because it was 21 mph over the limit (a 6 point violation). We were hoping for it to be reduced to 19 mph over the speed limit (only 4 points) and he somehow got it reduced to only 9 mph over the speed limit - a 2 point violation. He saved us 4 points against the driving record and possible time in jail and shared with us how to improve our driving record by 5 Points in one year!!! Total package service with professionalism and courtesy along the way.

The first day I met Mr. Short I could tell that he was not in it for the money like other attorneys I had previously sought. I immediately felt that he truly cared about his clients. I was in the middle of a divorce that had already drug on for about 3 years. He was extremely empathetic and sympathetic yet was in it to do what it took to get the job done.
