I had the unfortunate experience of being appointed Mr. Greenwald. I could have put together my own case if I knew what a passifying, kiss ass, lazy, liar he is. The man had my case for 6 months. He assured me of the worst that could happen. Then he said I misunderstood when my pre sentence was double then he informed me. I also had ideas about stipulations that I know is part of the cash flow in the business. Like drug evaluation and anger mgmt. If you have good insurance your mandated. He never once looked me in the eye. Isnt a lawyer suppose to prepare a case with evidence and research? He judged me. His staff made judgemental statements and never returned a call. He said "Trust me to do my job" I did and I got a very harsh sentence for a crime that I would never commit. It was my codefendant. who involved me in his crime and who is walking free with additional charges. I got a fine too. Im on disability. The total lack of concern, interest and research to prove anything was absent. I would never use this man or recommended him. Im calling the Better Business Bureau and the Bar Association. I deserve a consequence for being involved in the wrong place wrong time. Ben was a kiss ass. A real attorney owns the courtroom and presents some type of a fight for his client. Head my warning. Even if he is free for community service do not accept. Ask for a basic Public Pretender because chances are they will represent you and you always get a reduction.

Ben and his colleagues are the most unprofessional group of individuals I have encountered in my life. Their phone etiquette is terrible. They are either over extending themselves or just plain stupid as they miss-inform us on several occasions and really had no clue what was going on with our case. Ben missed court with no valid explanation. My son was in court facing the judge with no attorney by his side. He and his colleagues would claim to have submitted various request related to the case, but come to find out that if they did, it was way after when they stated things were being done. We were left in the dark during the whole time Ben represented my son with no communication or follow up on the case. If you’re looking for a fake lawyer with just the paper credential then this would be your guy

The worst lawyer period. We had a court appearance in rockland county and he never showed up. I called the office and they canceled the appearance without telling me, i looked like an idiot in the court room. they said a secretary was stealing money from the firm???The next court date another lawyer shows up that i never met, no legal advise just sat next to me while i said my case. A year later with all his delays i lost the case. Still have not met him in person. Do youself a favor find a different lawyer.

Ben Greenwald did a great job on my case. I was facing a lot of time and he did what he had to do to get me the minimal sentence and I am truly grateful to him for that.
