They are a terrible company. The phone crew is untrained, unprofessional, and highly clueless. They never follow through with anything, and every time you call back, they have no clue what it is they were supposed to be following up on. Then of course the whole process starts over and then over again and again etc. I guess a lot of patience is necessary. It usually takes 4-14 months to get a bill paid. Unfortunately ive been dumbed down enough that im starting to get accustomed to having collections letters sent to me on a regular basis. But i am always concerned about how it will reflect on my credit score. Of course, they wont answer that question. I would absolutely LOVE to give them 1 or 0 stars, but i cant complain too much when my family of 4 gets coverage for $28 a month. I guess you get what you pay for. But still, considering i spend 30-50 hours a year on the phone with them, all while constantly worrying about my credit score, is it worth it to me? Yeah......i guess

Horrible horrible horrible insurance. I have kidney stone and urgent to see the doctors and urologist but nobody want to see me because of this MARKETPLACE insurance. Im in pain for a week now and cannot find anyone to see me. THIS IS SO UNFAIR! By the way , as I am writing this review im crying bec of horrible pain Im having everyday for a 8 days now.

Worst experience with any company I have ever had. Can prove husband has been covered but claims get denied. Every time we call supposedly getting taken care of but never does. Have sent 2 ltrs and still nothing. Next step to file complaint with Department of Insurance and Better Business Bureau. If there was a negative star I would pick that.

DO NOT get this insurance unless u enjoy long wait times on the phone , not having access the right tax forms , countless broken promises & waiting 30 days for any answers with problems created by there own systems . THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY THAT COULD EVER BE FORMED . BELOW "0" WITH MY STARS RATING

Have children on MDWise and have never had a problem with them or their service. Initially a doctor was assigned incorrectly, but one QUICK phone call later and it was fixed and new cards were mailed to me.

Should have a much higher rating and the negative reviews are petty. Truth is this -- HIP and MDwise is what makes Indiana a fine place to live. Without it, the suicide rate would double in this state.
