Very difficult company to work with but this is a loan servicing company so you do not have a choice if they service your mortgage. Thier website is primitive and very user Unfriendly. The challenging website seems to be purposefully difficult. My experience with customer service staff has been difficult largely because the staff has often been unable to answer very simple questions. They seem to be reading pre-composed responses or rehearsed responses. This company has been investigated by state and federal authorities on many occasions for a variety of infractions at many levels from both the consumer side and at higher levels of administration. The fines paid by the company do not seem to result in an improvement in service. Maybe the company views the fines as a cost of doing business. I think the government needs to do more to get loan servicers to be more consumer friendly but then who is the true customer of the loan servicer---the consumer or the investor?

i have only been with ocwen since january 2013. my elec. payments were showing up as received but erratic. april never went through. i just happened to glance at my bank statement. i have since cleared the issue and the ocwen rep. assured me that because the gmac takeover has had some bumps that certainly i would be able to have the late fee dropped. i have made over 150 mortgage payments with gmac and never been late. today i call and spoke with someone else who indicated to me they cannot withdraw the late fee charge. i then sent a personal email to ceo william erbey. now i know its just a late fee but being a new kid on the ocwen block i thought a billion dollar enterprise may give a little latitude.

They blatantly lied to them, switched the reps every other month and asked them to keep resending paperwork. Then they asked her to pay thousands of $ when they had promised no money would come out of their pockets from the beginning. Lies.

This company is complete CRAP!!!!! I was in the process of buying a home and after 5 months of my time and not to mention my money, they terminated my contract due to a problem with the title. I cannot get anyone to return my calls or reply to my emails. I am extremely pissed about this whole thing and someone needs to do something about this company. There is no reason why people should be treated this way.

My husband worked for this company. He came from environment that promotes team work and assisting clients, his former employer relocated to another state. Ocwen does not work efficiently from the inside out. When employees attempt to solve the issues they are met with termination. They are currently being sued by regulators in several states. The are restructuring under Homeward, BEWARE!!!

Bad company to deal with, i called for a payoff they sent it to me. I sent in the total amount and they will not apply it and pay off the account. After several calls they still show me late and call me every day to send in another payment. i will be complaining to the state attorneys office and to the trade commission next.

I have been trying to make a payment and the wire transfer came back. The reason stated wrong account number. The number was verified by the billing statement. Have made several attempts to make calls nothing is working no trace of USA offices that handle mortgages. Now what?
