I never thought I would be taken to court, and I never thought on two completely different matters. The first case was a lawsuit brought against my company by a large and established finance company for a debt owed for an erroneous amount. The second was a personal matter concerning a family member charging me with grand theft after a parent died and that family member involving the State of Florida.I researched the best possible attorney I could find, and thus I sought after Mark Horwitz for my first case and returned for the second due to the experience with the first. Mark Horwitz not only instilled the confidence in me to pursue each of these cases, but he believed in me and the justice I deserved. Mark Horwitz was dedicated, and I felt like he spent all of his time on each of my cases. It led me to believe that he is consistent in his work ethic regardless of the style of the case. In order to fully understand each of my cases, Mark Horwitz, together with his persistent and assailing staff, pulled apart and compiled each aspect of each case and executed the best and fairest possible outcome to reach justice in each case. Mark Horwitz has a clear and concise understanding of the law and the system, and he conducts an attentive and precise investigation which could be closely compared to a forensic examination. In the first cases outcome, the finance company could not prove amount owed and I, with the counsel of Mark Horwitz, counter sued, due to the finance company displaying usury, for an erroneous amount and won. I never even considered for a moment this was a possible case to win over a huge and established finance company. The second case was dropped due to lack of proof and the statutory limitations had passed as satisfied by the State of Florida. Thanks to Mark Horwitz for strategically handling both cases and proving an outcome concluding the best possible results he could administer. Mark Horwitz is highly recommended, and by far, in my opinion, the best lawyer in Orlando Florida you can have the priviledge of working with and being successful in any of your endeavors.

Mark Horwitz is a most sophisticated and well experienced counsel with an extraordinary knowledge of the federal investigation and prosecutorial process. That knowledge and superior sophistication allowed him to assess the attributes and weaknesses of potential federal investigate assertions and to counter those assertions with facts that he developed and presented to senior federal Justice Department officials. His tenacity, keen intellect and organizational skill, when combined with his superb presentation and argument for position, completely dominated and unraveled a major federal multi-national investigation asserting misdeeds by former senior federal executives. His investigation and arguments resulted in that intricate federal investigation being stopped in it’s tracks with no referral for prosecution. It is most uncommon to find an Orlando based federal defense counsel equal or better in every respect to those of the highly specialized Washington, D.C. based attorneys and consultants focused entirely on federal investigations and defense against federal prosecution. I could not recommend Mark Horwitz and his supportive team lead by Larry Standish more highly. They meticulously set upon the threatening investigation and took it and the opposing view apart, piece by piece and cleared this multi-year inquiry away.

C.D. - Mark Horwitz saved my life, LITTERALLY!!. Nothing prepares a person for years of onslaught by a U.S. Inspector General and the United States District Attorney, especially when it is based upon fraudulent accusations. The investigation was causing so much stress that my health deteriorated to the point of having open heart surgery. One call to Marks office and everything changed in a heartbeat. The extreme stress instantly disappeared because of Marks confident disposition. Mark has incredible attention to detail, a calm focused disposition and projects an absolute sense of trust. Luck was with us the day we found Mark Horwitz on the internet. We had a serious problem with the IRS that required a great deal of knowledge and expertise regarding offshore accounts. Assisted by his extremely organized and competent staff, Mark was able to analyze the problem and present the facts to the IRS to prove that there was no wrongdoing on our part. We had no idea of where to even begin on our own! Mark, together with his paralegal, forensic accountant, and other dedicated staff, took over the minute we walked into his office. In time, they were able to resolve all of our issues with the IRS. The degree of skill and the attention to detail that went into our defense was astounding. Attorney Bennett Ford III literally saved my life. During the worst time of my life, he was everything a client with no previous experience with the court system could ask for.... Communication was consistent, questions answered in a way I could understand, extremely knowledgeable about the law, gave me reasonable expectations, the fees were reasonable considering the level of expertise, and while always being very "professional", something about his demeanor made me feel as though he actually cared about me receiving a favorable outcome, which he got thank God! There are not enuf positive words to describe how i feel about the service I received from this office. Even the support staff was friendly and welcoming. I found myself where no one wants to be...under investigation and then indictment. Mark Horwitz and his staff have a tremendous attention to detail that saw me through this brutal experience. In fact, my case was ultimately dismissed with prejudice, the best possible outcome once I had been indicted. Mark was never too busy to answer my questions and provide a firm guide for our defense. Unable to answer even the most basic of tax questions (e.g., statute of limitations, etc., etc.). Considered my tax problem "Not worth my time" and to "Just pay it". He may be in a position to pay that kind of money, but I am not. Very rude, obviously only for the upper/upper-middle class. Would not recommend just out of principle.

Yes, probably they are reputable and experienced.. for someone else. I spent $ 20k for nothing. Charged me for every single email & phone call to say "we have no updates".
