We have had AAA for many years. Every time I personally visited the agency I was pleased with the service. In the past few years we have had our homeowners and auto insurance with AAA. I have watched the prices go up and up every year even without ever having an accident or homeowners claim. Even after paying off our home and car.....they continued to show a mortgage on our paperwork. Recently we had a water leak in our ceiling in our home. The agent we worked with in the Tampa office was the worst person we have ever worked with. She never returned out calls when asked to and was so difficult that she left a very sour taste in our mouths. Recently we called the Ft. Myers office to get a re-quote on our insurances as they never took the mortgage info off and the price kept rising. We are still waiting for a call back after waiting for one week. We are now getting quotes from other companies as we are so disappointed and disgusted with AAA. A one star is too many to give them.

Very disappointing... Purchased tickets for Universal Studies and Disney. Live in Florida and was given Florida discount tickets for 434.49 three day ticket for three adults at Disney and 520.74 for two days at Universal Studio. On arrival was informed Florida discounts not valid during black out and had to spend another 456.75 for Disney tickets and 214.99 for Universal. AAA representative booked us at Best Western Hotel on Jamaican Court. The place was a dump. Wasp nest in the room, tub was not cleaned daily, bugs in the bed and ants on the bed table. Complained to front desk who said they would check into it. Should have expected it would be a dump at 105.88 per night. Will NEVER use the travel services again.

I usually enjoy visiting the AAA office in Ft. Myers. On this day, I stopped at the front desk and picked up a map, then asked to speak with "my" travel agent. She was not there, but the receptionist sent me to another travel specialist. Unfortunately, this specialist did not make a good impression. I asked her about getting cabins on a Royal Caribbean cruise in the fall. Basically, she told me to just look it up online myself. Ummm...whaaat??? You want to give up making a booking for two cabins on a cruise ship because it is too difficult to look it up yourself? Or what? Luckily, I found another travel agent willing to do the "looking up" and booked our two cabins with them (NOT AAA). Very disappointed.

I have been an AAA member for many years and never regretted it. Here is the latest reason why: this evening we called AAA because the car was not starting. In less than an hour, Robert F was on the scene. Within moments, AAA called to confirm his arrival. Problem was quickly diagnosed, and the battery - which was still under AAA warranty - was replaced. When a company hires the nicest people, who perform their jobs cheerfully and efficiently with a great attitude, it makes you want to stay with it! With AAA as my back-up, I never worry about being stuck on the road or even in my driveway due to a car problem. Thanks AAA, for being there, and for hiring great people like Robert!

We went to check on tours from Las Vegas to places in the vicinity amnd they had info from only one tour company the used globally. Not much info and prices were more than what had found on the internet The customer service lady suggested waiting till we got there to check which was in direct opposition what I had been told by people who had traveled to Las Vegas before. When I got home and looked on line the prices she had quoted me were $15 to $30 more than on line! It was essentially a wasted trip to the AAA office. We also waited for about ten minutes to be seen and three of the reps seemed to be busy doing nothing.

I had a flat tire yesterday on the way back from a day at the beach. I called AAA roadside assistance and was greeted by a friendly lady. The first question she asked me was "are you safe?" I was, but it was nice to know that she was concerned about that before I even gave her my membership number. Thank you! Eric, my roadside assistant, was there in less than 10 minutes and gave me a cold bottle of water as soon as he got out of his truck. That was very much appreciated. He changed my tire in no time flat, was very professional and friendly. They really made a stressful situation easier to deal with. Thank you!

My hubby and I have had Dawn Bancroft for quite a few years now, and I must say she is the very best! She takes the worry out of you and does all the work for you! Except for one tiny mishap (not big enough to mention), we are totally satisfied with her as a Rep for our local AAA. For example: we decided just recently to go on a 10 day Mayan Mystique Oceania Cruise on March 18, and we gave Dawn a call; in minutes she got us a great price, extra amentities with no worries, all right before she left on vacation! What a gal!!! Thank you AAA!!!

My sons car broke down on the freeway. His call was answered immediately and a driver was sent within minutes. The driver called to let my son know he was on his way and that he would be there in a few minutes.The driver brought water with him and his attitude and willingness to help was way beyond what anyone would expect. We are extremely pleased with AAA and are very glad we are a member. We sincerely feel that no other service would take care of us like they do. Thank You AAA we will be a member for life.

It can take me hours to make reservations when planning a plane trip, plus the process can be frustrating. The help we got from the AAA representative was wonderful! We know there is plenty of time to make connections, and we have wheelchair arrangements in place. Even our seating is all set, as we need two aisle seats, making it possible for me to help my husband. I am grateful for the patient and courteous help I received.

Our Triptick was great except for Knoxville, TN area. The construction site going from I-75 onto I-640 as not marked. The ramps were closed and no mention in our triptick showed this. We had to go past our planned by-pass and shift to Am radio to get instruction. Traffic was heavy and if we had not had a Knowville map, we would have been lost. Barbara Bice helped us save a lot of money on our auto insurance. I wish we had contacted AAA Insurance sooner. I had no idea how bad we were taken advantage of by Liberty Mutual and we had been loyal to them since 1995. Rather than shop around myself without really knowing what companies were good or bad, AAA did the legwork and matched us with one of the best and most stable companies available.

When we entered we were greeted by a lovely lady who asked us to wait while she contacted a AAA Car Insurance agent. Our agent was Kathy and she was helpful, informative and was helping us get the best rate for our car. During our wait, a bottle of water was given to us and that was a special treat. When calling the Ft Myers office to ask for help with purchasing Euros for an upcoming trip, the woman on the telephone was NOT helpful. She said to look at the website to get info and was not willing to provide any details. We just arrived in Florida from the mountain west and were told we could buy Euros at all AAA locations so this was disappointing.

We have been to the AAA Office in Fort Myers only a few times since we just moved to Florida one year ago. We love the way the office is set up with little or no wait for our needs. Where we lived before, we always had to wait. The employees at this office are so pleasant. Our visits to their office has always been delightful.

We went to AAA of Fort Myers to check on car insurance. The agent was able to save us $400 on a policy. Same coverage as what we have now. It was a no brainer! Hope he can find a discount next year for our Homeowners insurance. Every one was friendly. Looking forward to returning to AAA when we plan to go on a trip.

AAA is good at auto travel (maps & tourbooks), discount tickets, roadside service (towing) and driver’s education. However as far as a full service travel agency they fall short. Basically they are a reseller of packaged tours. Independent travelers will not find much help and of course there are fees even for AAA members.

My wife and I had a great experience at the Fort Myers AAA store . We were planning a trip to Orlando and needed a good hotel that accepted pets plus was located in good neighborhood. The agent that we worked with had lived in Orlando and with this background was able to make reservations that were exactly what we wanted.

So ashamed! My parents have been members for over 30 years and when my 65 year old mother was left with a dead battery, AAA took over 4 1/2 hours to get to her after telling her it would be a (still unacceptable) hour and half. They never called back to tell her they would be late. It was 90 outside!!! You are disgraceful

I had lost my AAA card and went in to see what I had to do to replace it. The receptionist immediately printed me out a copy of my card and said that would be god until my new card arrives in the mail. Only took about 2 minutes or less. Also then purchased Disney tickets within minutes. Great service

Excellent. After our battery died, the service technician was promptly at our vehicle within the hour. On our way to purchase a new battery. Initial phone call into AAA was handled professionally and promptly. Staff at the call centre to service technician were top notch.

I only needed a passport photo, but everyone was friendly. They were very busy with people waiting for an agent ahead of me. The travelers ahead of me were taken care of quickly. I had my photos done and I was out of there in 10 minutes.
