Tiffany gave me the best cut that I have ever received at a cosmetology school. She listened clearly to what I wanted done and knew when to ask for help from the instructors, as I was asking for a style that she did not have much experience with. Ask for Tiffany!! I will say that there is an tremendous lack of professionalism from the managers/owners/lead staff during my experience today. My haircut was interrupted more than once. First by a staff member who insisted that the supervisor sign a birthday card as she was supposed to be checking my cut. The supervisor signed the card right on top of the salon counter where I had been seated. Finally, the entire team of students and staff was called to sing "Happy Birthday" in the back office, while all of the clients had their services interrupted and were left to wait until the celebration concluded. Now, I understand that something like this may be unusual but it still tainted my overall experience.

tried to get a perm thier after calling the day before and telling them my hair was dyed black but was never bleached and they were rude to me when i came in just being plain smartasses itelling me no we couldnt see your hair over the phone like wtf i guess you dont need my money then.they were a good school but the problems are they are very rude and disrespectful but walmart saloon had no problem doing MY hair so just go their

I have received the services of many different students at the school over the past 2 years, and have always find the staff and students pleasant. Yucca Valley is very fortunate to have such a high caliber of training for the futures of the students.

Went in today to get some "anti-snap" and the office was close until 5pm, but 2 of the ladies went ahead and help me get the product I needed. They were so sweet and knowledgeable about the product. I appreciate all the help they gave me.

Do not have hair color done here - you may regret it for months. I thought the instructors were supposed to supervise the coloring process! I do not know what happened, but my outcome was a disaster.
