As an international student looking for car insurance, I feel like I hit the jackpot when I met Wayne McCormick. I moved to San Diego to get a bachelors in Business Admin at USD, and knew relatively nothing about the automotive laws or insurance requirements for the USA. Wayne educated me on American car insurance, walked me through all the options I had and eventually got me a VERY affordable insurance for my car. He recommended I only insure it 6 months at a time, as he believed we could get an even better insurance deal the longer I had been driving in California (which he did, my insurance got cheaper every six months for the following four years)! Wayne McCormick always got me the best car insurance deals, but whats even more important is that he always went the extra mile to make sure his clients (me) were well taken care of. In my second year at USD me and some friends had the bright idea of driving down to Ensenada to go surf (a small coastal town an hour and a half drive south of the border in Mexico). I called up Wayne before my trip and made sure my insurance would cover my car while I was in Mexico, which he confirmed it would. Long story short, I had just crossed the border and was driving through Tijuana (sketchy) when a woman in a red VW rear-ended my car. We immediately began to panic, imaging ourselves caught up in one of those tragic Mexican-border-crossing horror stories that we have all heard or read about. Fortunately for me, I had Wayne. As soon as the crash happened, I gave him a call and he proceeded to walk me through the whole ordeal (thanks once again for sacrificing your Saturday to help me out Wayne). I ended up spending like four hours in a Mexican police station with the lady who had crashed into me to get the legal paperwork in order, but I was able to get full reimbursement for ALL the damages my car suffered! Furthermore although the crash happened in Mexico, I was able to get my car fixed by my trusted car shop in San Diego!! Me and my buddies ended up continuing our drive south and had a wonderful weekend of tacos, Coronas and fun in the sun; none of which would have been possible without Wayne McCormick and his guidance. I could honestly not be happier with the service I received over the past four years, and the confidence I gained by knowing me and my car were ALWAYS well taken care of. I also want to mention how amazing of a person I think he is. Only a few times in my life have I met a person like Wayne, who has the ability to brighten up your day no matter what the circumstance. He made getting my car insurance renewed (something I usually dread as much as going for my yearly flu shot) a pleasant experience. I have never written a review for anyone/anything in my life, but would like to take the time and recommend McCormick Insurance Solutions to ANYONE AND EVERYONE looking for affordable and reliable insurance in San Diego!!

I will start this review saying that I do not review often due to my busy schedule, but Wayne at McCormick Insurance deserves it! As you see in other reviews, Wayne is not only good at finding the right insurance for you, but also has the gift of knowing how to treat customers and people in general. Customer service in my book, along with a great product of course, is most important! Wayne communicates effectively via phone and email, and is truly committed to his customers. I have dealt with more than my share of insurance providers and handling all of the options on your own is too much work for the average working person. Let Wayne handle it! You will not regret it. I had a difficult situation where I helping someone whose license was suspended to renew a vehicle registration. To register, they needed to obtain insurance, but most companies will not write for someone with a suspended license. I was referred by another agent to Wayne, who not only got a policy issued immediately, but emailed the proof of insurance card and advised how to get through the DMV bureaucracy to avoid delays in getting the registration. With his help, we got the registration issued on the spot. If you have a difficult insurance situation, Wayne is your guy.

Insurance is something we need to have but hate to think about and deal with. At least for me. For a several years now Wayne has delivered such great customer service I thought it was time to write about it. From finding the best coverage at the fairest and lowest price to email reminders and even personal phone calls with advice regarding changing plans to save money or better coverage is available. He takes care of all the details so all that is needed is an agreement and a conformation. Wayne takes all the stress, time and problems out of the entire process!

With my situation Other places wanted to charge me $11,000.00 + $50,000.00 in collateral for a bond needed type of business I own. Wayne got me taken care of for only $7500.00. I dealt with Wayne McCormick regarding insurance documents for a home loan. He was professional and prompt about getting me needed information. I had to request several different changes and he did not complain nor argue one time. I work for a mortgage company and deal with insurance agencies on a daily basis.
