Absolutely terrible! just opened an acct online for riverview and I went in the next morning to have a debit card made. When I arrived there was 2 tellers that were not assisting anyone. Neither of them acknowledge me to say hello or to even tell me that it was going to be a moment before they could help me. Once one of them finally decided to help me after waiting for 6 minutes. All she said was "I can help you" then when I asked her if she could please print me a new debit card, SHE HAD THE NERVE TO ROLL HER EYES AT ME! Up until this point I was calm and understanding because I know they have other things they need to get done. The rest of the time I was there all she said was "punch in you pin on this pad". And "the card will be active in 15 minutes" Absolutely terrible. Unacceptable. If your job, what you are being paid to do, is to assist your members with their financial needs. DO NOT act like they are disturbing and bothering you. Worst first impression I have ever had for anything in my entire life.
I cannot believe how awful this credit union is. The drive-thru has specific hours, but no one has answered during said hours on multiple occasions. The drive-thru ATM spits your money back out onto the ground when depositing if too high (like over five bills), WHAT?! The parking ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS sucks. The lines are ridiculously long because there is only ONE rivermark branch in all of Portland. The locations on the app as well as online do not show the hours of the drive-thru, in fact on their own damn app the branch DOESNT EVEN SHOW ON THE MAP. I wish someone would have told me not to waste my time when I moved to Portland and was looking for an awesome and reliable credit union!
This is an awesome credit union; there is no reason to use a big bank when you can have the same convenience with better rates and service. The customer service is excellent in both the branches and over the phone. The interest rates are solid. You can manage your accounts online and through a smartphone app that also lets you make mobile deposits. You can be refunded for ATM fees incurred at other machines and they partner with other credit unions to give you even more locations to make withdrawals and deposits. You can even earn rewards points that you can trade in for all sorts of things.
I am very happy with Rivermark! There is no fee or account minimum. They have overdraft protection. I love the deposit feature on their ap. I have always had excellent customer service at their physical location and they have called me when they suspected fraudulent charges. They also refund ATM fees. I am so happy I switched from a bank to Rivermark Credit Union!!! And to the gentleman whose review is below mine...NJ is three hours ahead of us! You have to take time zones into consideration!
Rivermark CU is the worst financial institution I have ever done business with. Their wait times are excruciatingly long, and are exasperated by the fact that there are ALWAYS "bankers" sitting around not helping people. Their lending department is lazy, and never available. Other than the low rates I was able to get there is not one single redeeming quality about this CU. There are MUCH better out there!

Switched to Rivermark when chase bought Wamu. I wish it would happened a long time ago! So happy to be with a small credit union instead of a big, too big to fail corporate bank. Thrilled with their customer service, and thrilled with my interest bearing checking account!

I somehow got added to their junk mail list. I called in to be removed and they suggested I call the post office. Why would I ever do business with a business which rudely declines to help me, and which spams their neighborhood with junk mail?
No transfer fees, notifications have always worked, no account fees, and dividends are still being paid. Seperate lines for shared banking makes it more efficient, not less. A reliable and satisfying credit union.

The service here is always bad. The line is long, many tellers sitting at the counter are not helping customers. Simple tasks take a very long time to complete. Choose another credit union.
This used to be a good centrally located bank to do shared branching in. This year, they stopped shared branching inside with the tellers. Now, you can only use the outside ATM.
The wait time is outrageous! There are bankers waiting and sitting around doing nothing while you are waiting to see a person for servising. Ended up closing my account.

Hours posted on website are 8am-8pm. Not accurate at all, they close at 5pm Mon-Thurs and 6 on Friday.
