In mid-Nov I dropped off 8 completely refinished upper Kitchen Cabinet doors to Rio Rancho Glass @ 1503 Golf Course Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 to have glass put in to update my Kitchen in anticipation of putting my house on the market by Dec 1st. I was told that this would take 5 to 10 days to complete. After 2 weeks I contacted them to find out the status and was told the owner would return my call. I never received a call back. After another week I contacted them again and was told the same thing and again never received a call. I called two days later and again was told I would get a call back, so I told them if I did not get a call back with a timeline of completion by Dec 9th, I may have to come and get them to take somewhere else. I never heard from them. I went in on the 9th and waited over an hour for the owner to come out of his office to speak to me. He then showed me my doors and they were split and broken to pieces, saying it was my fault as I refinished them prior to putting glass in making them brittle and rushed them( I was told by them to do it this way and have since talked to other glass shops and was told to stain them first). I told them to fix them( even though I had my doubts they could accomplish this) and was told they would do so and the owner said he would keep me informed. I was never called and when I would call, was told that they were waiting on the glass. By January I had suspicions that they were not planning on doing anything. When I expressed this to the receptionist, she told me the owner would call me. He did not! Not once during this whole ordeal or to this date have I receive a call from them! I have since had to order all new Cabinet doors including all the lower ones as they could not be matched. This has been very time consuming as well as extremely costly. What started as a $380. upgrade has turned into well over a $1500. mistake. My realtor has put out the word to all agents in the area, Not to use this company and I will be sure everyone on social media /internet knows about their shoddy business practices!

BBB has become less transparent. With their new website, one can no longer see the complaint details. They could learn a lot from Yelp and Google and realize that we are living in more transparent times, not more secrecy. My complaint literally disappeared for a company who paid for their premium service to be an “accredited business” on their website and they changed the company rating from an A- to an A+. They have the same person on their board of directors that is also on the NM Roofing Contractors Association. I had to ask 3 times before they finally told me the truth about that and only after I was very specific about who told me. I made the mistake of trusting them to be objective and truthful. The arbitration process is a kangaroo court. The arbitrator didn’t even put a date on the award even though the work was to be completed within 30 days of the award date. He also ignored all of the evidence including the physical evidence, the expert witnesses, the pictures and video. We no longer live in a society where entities can hide their deception. The BBB needs to learn the importance of truth, honesty and transparency.

"the ups store" located 13170 Central Ave SE Albuquerque, NM 87123, is the only store that I know of, anywhere, that does not give any UPS receipt for the packages dropped-off. they only give a hand written tracking number on a piece of scratch paper. the older lady clerk, does not underestand, that the UPD receipt, offered everywhere!, is the standard of practice, that gives customers, an undeniable document that "A package was delivered/dropped off at such store" for future issues, if ever happens. When I demanded to get a receipt, she said, "take your business other places". hence and therefore, if you want to be protected, take your UPS business elsewhere.

They are not here to protect consumers only businesses I was told if you have a real complaint get a lawyer to resolve issue. My issue was a contractor acting unprofessional asking me to go cash a check for hm I gave him a negative review he came by my home saying wanted talk to about review I told him it was about requesting me to go cash check and to leave my property he called several times threatened to file slander suit. Filed police report was intimidated into withdrawal of the review.Beware BBB not for consumer protection.

These people are a joke. They have no desire to work with a business and get to the bottom of an issue. They should look at there own reviews they have a terrible rating. They are not biased or far. They post anything even if not truthful. They are horrible people to deal with and they hurt hard working businesses. The BBB response has nothing to do with my complaint. They try to justify how wonderful they are......just look at there reviews.

The BBB is a joke. They do nothing to help the consumer, but damage the good name of reputable businesses. Even if a complaint has NO MERIT the BBB will put a damaging mark against the business. If a consumer wanted they could send in fake complaints against a business and the BBB would be clue less. All they do is extort money from legimate businesses.

Heads up to anyone going to Albuquerque (Old Town) whether you are a local or a tourist, stay away from the Chili Patch, 204 San Felipe NW (Old Town), Albuquerque, New Mexico 87104. They are not customer oriented and are very unfriendly. We had a bad experience there and hope to warn all others of there bad business practices...

Funny, seems like the BBB holds people accountable then gets bad reviews from sour buisness owners.
