August 15, 2016 Kevin M. Volz, Attorney at Law located at 156 Baxter Street, Rutland, VT 05701, represented me during my divorce and thereafter with my QDRO paperwork and miscellaneous end work. Due to my devastation, I was very much emotionally and mentally lacking to make the good sound decisions needed for divorce. Also, when some of my fogginess cleared, I realized I was by no means educated enough in the area of law to represent myself to deem what the law considers a fair divorce. I literally handed all of the divorce affairs over to Kevin—and I am so glad I made that choice. Even though he took the ‘controlling reins,’ he never once made a decision without consulting me first. Kevin knew I was not in the best emotional and mental capacity and was always very supportive, very patient, and very, very aware of my feelings. He was respectful, kind, and considerate at all times, yet when it was time to get things moving in the correct direction for my benefit, he would respectfully state what needed to be completed in a matter-of-fact manner (one characteristic I really like and respect about him because I am not one to ‘beat around the bush’). When it came to the financial aspect of divorce, Kevin was very straight forward, timely with the invoices, and kept accurate records of all transactions and correspondences. More often than not, Kevin even advised as to when and why contacting him would be beneficial in order for me to keep my costs at a minimum. Kevin M. Volz, Attorney at Law is a respectable service and always had my best interests in the forefront. Whether these interests involve the emotional, confidential, or monetary aspect related my divorce, Kevin was always professional, respectful, and was there for me. In the end, I actually received more from this divorce than what I originally expected. I am not 100% on my feet again, but I would not be where I am today without a good attorney like Kevin.
