I really don’t think moving across the country would have been as easy as it was without Josh Brown and his team. My wife and I moved from Milwaukee, WI down to Austin, TX. Along with all the other concerns of moving such a distance is working with a lender and finding the best rate to finance a new home. Going into purchasing a new home I had done my research and new that I wanted to use my VA loan which I had not used when I purchased my first house. I also knew this time to shop around for lenders as the closing cost and associated fees can vary and make a huge difference when it comes to the amount of liquidity needed at closing. After receiving quotes from 4 different lenders Josh Brown had the second best rate. When he followed up with me I told him I was leaning towards another lender due to the rate was slightly better. Josh literally said that he loves a challenge and let him look at some things and he would be with me shortly. Within about 15 minutes he calls me back and informs me that he has found a special VA loan type that I qualified for and that it will drop my rate by 0.5. Josh Brown literally saved me an extra $100 a month. Not only did Josh save me money, my loan was approved and locked in in just a 2 weeks. Every step of the way I was in close contact with Josh and his team. They kept me informed of what the next step was every step of the way. They answered all my questions and explained everything. It really gave me comfort knowing I was in good hands with an experienced lender. I simply cannot express how wonderful my experience was working with Josh and his team. I will highly recommend him to any I know looking for a lender.

My wife and I met Kristin Carroll when we closed on our first home in Austin almost fifteen years ago. Although we have not done business together since that time, Kristin kept in touch with us, never forgetting to wish us a happy birthday each year (I’m talking about a phone call folks, not an email) . Since moving to Sente, she has been diligent about keeping us informed on current financial issues through her email newsletters. When it came time to refinance, she was the first and only call I made. As for the customer service we received from Sente and Kristin’s team, the only thing that could have made the loan process any better would have been if the closing was at our house. Seriously, communication was excellent; the loan process couldn’t have been easier, everything was done either online or by email and the fact that I did not have to leave my office until closing was huge. The title company was only ten minutes from home and we were finished with the loan closing in less than an hour. It was clearly the easiest and most pleasant loan process I have ever experienced. My hat goes off, thanks to all at Sente.

We moved into a lease home in Austin last summer (2014) relocating from the Washington DC area. This May (2015), we considered renewing the lease or purchasing a home. After talking with our realtor, we decided to see if we could find a house to buy. Our realtor suggested reaching out to Josh and the team at Sente Mortgage. I worked with Pat Odom. By mid-May we were pre-approved for a mortgage. By the end of May we had place an offer on a home. We closed on June 18 and love our new house! Pat was great to work with as well as the entire team at Sente. Pat was always there to answer questions as we got into a bidding war on the first house and then negotiated on the second house (the one we eventually bought). He helped me think through different offers to get a new roof installed as part of the sale, the pros and cons of the various loan products, and finally settling on the loan we ended up with. Thanks to Sente. We love our new house!

We had originally shopped around for a mortgage lender, but April won us over with her level of service, and Sente won us over with their competitive offer. From the beginning, April was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She helped us with every step along the way, so we never felt lost. While waiting for the rates to improve before we locked our rate in, April gave regular updates, so we never felt forgotten. The Josh Brown Team at Sente did an exceptional job on my loan. The are definitely leaders in the industry, and make the process very easy. This is tough to pull off, but somehow they do it without breaking a sweat. With underwriting standards so tough, especially for borrowers like me that are self employed, I was a little nervous about satisfying some of the conditions that could have come up. But, Josh, Max, Felicia, and Vickie took every hurdle in stride and were positive, proactive and solution minded from the very beginning. We closed on time, they followed through on everything they said they would do, they were always enthusiastically available and also sincere and strategic.. A dynamite team!

This is our first home and we are immigrants so you can imaging we were a little "paranoiac" with all this new adventure for us. If I did not have Sarah Morris looking after my interests I swear I would be lost. She did everything and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with buying my New home. Not only that she took extra measures to assist the other lenders who were buying my current home so we could be on track. I was recommended to call Joe Brown at Sente Mortgage by my realtor. Since this was my first home buying experience, I had a TON of questions. Joe Brown did a great job explaining my options to me, he never made me feel as if I was wasting his time. He has a comprehensive team for each step of the loan process.At times, I felt exhausted by all of the documentation required, and felt that I had signed the same form multiple times, but I think this is characteristic of the mortgage process, regardless of what company is used.In the end, we got the mortgage at a great rate, and were able to close by the date we needed.
