I had been aware of this Car Care center for awhile, but had never used it as it was not convenient to my location. When the fuel pump went out in my car, I decided to give them a try. It was very convenient to just call AAA and let them schedule the tow and the appointment. They called later to confirm that it was the fuel pump and they recommended replacing the fuel pump relay also, which I thought was wise and agreed. The vehicle was ready the next day. Now, with the new fuel pump assembly installed, my fuel gauge is off by more than 1/4 tank. A full tank of gas registers as slightly less than 3/4 full, which means, when the gauge reads empty, there is still 1/4 of a tank of gas in there. This is better than the other way though, where an empty tank would read 1/4 full. I had asked that while the car was on the lift, they also do an oil and filter change. Somehow this was overlooked and not done, so I just stopped off at a local quick lube place on the way home and let them do the oil and filter change for less than $20.00, which was half of what AAA was advertising in their Car Care center.

I have been taking my car to AAA Carolinas-Irmo for many years, however, this last visit my vehicle required multiple visits to finally find the problem. I paid close to $600 when I picked up my car the first time. Then when the check engine light came on again I returned to AAA and with the excellent assistance from Robert we sent my car, Tweety Bird, back to sick bay...another assessment was done and tried something else..bottom line is even though I had to return multiple times, I was not charged any additional money which I really did appreciate and the customer care service is a 10.

made reservation. dropped car off 15 min early. told them I would do some shopping with wife who followed me in her car. returned 2 hours later and they had just taken car back. guess i should have sat and watched them. This was the second time in a row this happened. Also, was not told the tire rotation was part of the upgraded package, so it was not done. spent $81 for oil change with no tire rotation. same service at Tire Kingdom was $66 with tire rotation. guess whose membership i am dropping after 20 years and where our cars go for service from now on.

AAA Carolina - Irmo is a trust-worth group of professionals. They have worked on my cars for six years. Their staff knows me and my automobile, and are always honest and understanding of tight budgets. That said, they also warn me of issues like low tire pressure, tire wear, and signs of a weak battery…before it can cause trouble…and in time for me to save up if the repair is costly. Robert, Doug, and everyone there treats me like they truly care about my safety and my journeys ahead. I rely on them and they always deliver quality.

Outstanding service, staff is courteous and professional. Waiting area is clean and mechanics are knowledgeable. They have a valet service and if you choose to stick around there are several places to eat within 100 yards. I have all of my cars serviced at AAA on Lake Murray Blvd. It is possible that I could find some place to do the work cheaper but when you factor in the level of professionalism, service, and quality of work AAA is a great deal.

I have been a member since 1994 or so. We have not really had to use them until this year. I have been nothing but pleased with the people I have come in conatct with. The tow drivers are great and the Car Care Center guys are great!! They show when they tell they will show and fix it acurately with a very fair cost. Thanks AAA!!!
