Prior to completing the enrollment process, a flashing banner should appear on the Healthplex Capdent website that CLEARLY states ~ "WARNING! The list of participating dental care providers on this website is not accurate. If one of our employees processes your request for a primary dental care provider and you receive written confirmation as well as a membership card with your group number and selected primary dental care provider, try to schedule an appointment and see what happens. Follow steps one through four again. Same outcome. And again. Same outcome. And again. Same outcome. Contact a Healthplex supervisor for assistance and the outcome will be the same." All of the reviews below further substantiate that Healthplex Dental Benefits is an absolute joke.

This is a bad insurance...I have it not by choice, but thru my job. Check the reviews in the social media, like Yelp, to see what kind of dentists are within the insurance network. You be dealing with mediocre dentists using century old equipment. Also, with ones that have no scruples in robbing you. If you need dental work, find one by your choice, since at the end this insurance does not cover much.

THE WORST. my company uses this dental plan. Every claim i have ever made for dental services have been denied. The covered items are so few, it doesnt even pay to have this plan. Stay away from this company . They go out of there way to deny ever claim from root canals to bridge work. Total garbage coverage.

Great insurance. I have it through my union. They cover everything excepts implants.( but we get a huge discount at most dentists that eccept Healthplex). Plenty of dentists and specialists to choose from. I would recommend Healthplex.

Unfortunately, this is the provider for NY state sponsored dental insurance for kids. They have incompetent dentists that practice in dental offices in great need of renovation, using very old equipment.
