Located in northern Minnesota, Voyageurs National Park is a land of spectacular beauty and rich history. It hugs the outer edges of the northern boreal forest, and its interconnected lakes were once roads for travel and trade. The park is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a boreal forest, ply the interconnected water routes and view the dark skies. If you’re lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights dancing overhead.

I have travelled to many national parks, they are all special, but Voyageurs hold a special place in my heart. I have moments while on the lake when I remember the enormous glaciers that shaped the landscape or the Voyageurs that traded with Native Americans or the "gold boom" that went busy. This is an area of great history and great beauty. It truly is a hidden gem of the Park Service.

This place is unbelievably beautiful, my science club and I rented a house boat here for 5 days and went all over the national park and through Canadian waters aswell without any issues. A great and fun place to vacation, we got to see bald eagles, and one extremely large snapping turtle. I caught plenty of fish. Great place to go fishing and camping too.

One of our most unique national parks. Beautiful all seasons of the year. Some of the most scenic snowmobile trails in the state. World class fishing for walleye, crappie, northern pike and smallmouth bass. Not overrun with lakeshore development or pleasure boaters and jet skis. In fact jet skis are not allowed in the park.

vacationed a couple times here, if you are looking to get back to nature this is the place. beware, unless you have at&t you wont have cell signal in most places, even with at&t there are places that wont have reception. great fishing, great trails

The center is small, but very nice. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. The park looks beautiful, but I missed so much by not going out on a boat or in a canoe. I heard about the mosquitoes before I went, and, boy, were the reports right!

Great park with ton of little islands accessible with boats/canoes/kayaks. We went here for few days, and enjoyed the amazing sunrises and sunsets. We camped at different islands and the views, stay was amazing at everyone of them.

The most unique and beautiful park in MN. You must have a boat to appreciate! The best part about this park is that it is never very crowded because it is so large so you can always find a quiet place on the lakes.

A park with beautiful views and glimpses of how the world used to be. My only complaint is the sheer number of motor boats and cabins on the lake, taking away some of the beauty of the natural world.

This is a wonderful place to get away from the rest of the world and explore the wilderness. Take a canoe out and camp in solitude on the tiny uninhabited islands.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The little museum is interesting and well kept. The views from the lodge are gorgeous and the walking trails are great.

The park rangers go out of their way to answer any questions you have. They know all the eagle nests and slow the boat so you can take tons of pictures.

Get a boat, find an island, and camp. Lots of islands to explore, good fishing, and wildlife. Make sure to use the bear boxes to protect your food.

Great park, we rented a houseboat from Rainy Lake Houseboats. The houseboat sites are well set up and quite beautiful. I highly recommend visiting!
