You meet the nicest people on a Honda was the tagline when Hap and I first met. Always a great dealer for my Honda Passport. Then I bought my sparkling Triumph Scrambler from Billy and have always had an admiration for him since. Dave and Valerie in parts have always been my champions. Upfront in letting me know if the part was green, yellow, or red regarding the delivery and subsequent re-shipping to me. The service department should be shut down as an insult to the rest of the team. Jan was always big in attitude and short in customer care. Dave will not return phone calls and when you do get him on the line, he promises and never delivers. I’ve been dealing with Hap’s for many years. Triumph sales, parts, and apparel are the best in Florida. Fun Bike Center Motorsports in Lakeland is the best for service.

I own a K1600 BMW. I did not buy it from Hap. I live in Key West and bought the bike where I could at the time because of limited supply. The dealer I purchased from became distant as soon as I cut the check. I picked up the phone and called Bob here at Haps. He had no ties to me nor did he have any promise of making any money from me.. Answered a TON of probably stupid questions for me and was VERY helpful. IF and When I get the chance to have some service work done.. I will go the extra 80 miles to have them do it. Great people, super friendly..

I bought my first new motorcycle in Sarasota in 1972. I have been going into Haps since that time and never had a negative experience. Haps is a Sarasota icon. I hope they will always be owned and operated by the same family unlike other dealerships in the area. No scamming, no smoke screens, fair parts pricing & down to earth experienced professional pleasant employees thru out. Any negative post about Haps is really suspect.

I visited Haps -cycles today hoping to get some information on my motorcycle and some info on parts. I was at the shop inside and out for over 30 minutes. Felt I was invisible. Nobody acknowledged me even after walking around every Triumph on the floor and checking out the shop. Guess I go online and order.

The service I received was great! It took close to less then a hour to buy a new bike from Haps! Steve also took the time to explain everything as far as regular maintenance to what I should do after riding; it was very helpful and overall excellent! I would highly recommend this place to another buyer!
