This review is for Jennifer Brown (FKA Jennifer Farmer) with Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor. At the beginning of this year (2013) I found myself unexpectedly faced with the reality that my wife of 10 years and I were going to end our marriage in divorce. Simply stated, this was the second most difficult thing that I had ever been faced with. I soon realized that I needed to select an attorney for my defense as well as for the protection of my assets that were accrued both pre and post marital. I had planned on meeting with several attorneys and Jenni, as everyone calls her, was the first one that I met with. We sat and talked for quite a while as she took notes. She wanted me to start as far back as I thought was applicable and tell her every detail up to the present. The meeting was so much more that I had anticipated. I had no idea that so many emotions would rise to the surface like they did. The fact that I was talking to a total stranger, and a beautiful young attorney at that, set the stage for what could have been an incredibly awkward moment. It wasn’t at all. Jenni has a way about her that makes you feel totally at ease. She listens carefully and asks all of the appropriate questions in order to prepare the best case possible. Although she is young, her experience is quite evident and she is well connected in the legal community. Besides being an excellent attorney, Jenni really does care about her clients and shows just the right amount of compassion. Attorneys are generally not known for this but it is one of many attributes that makes her excel. Honestly, I have nothing but praises for her. I would also like to mention Lynn Congdon who is Jenni’s Senior Paralegal. She is a crucial part of the team who is generally behind the scenes doing her part to ensure success for the client. And lastly, Anne Campbell, the Account Manager. She was always on top of things and excelled at keeping me informed as to where my money was being spent. As a bonus she is an incredibly nice person and a pleasure to work with. In summary, if you find yourself in need of legal representation concerning family law, do not hesitate to call Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor and ask for a meeting with Jennifer Brown. You will not regret it!

In regards to my specific legal matters, I extend high appreciation and praise to my attorney, Christine Ulich, for her representation, counsel, guidance and navigation. While I am sure that they all have participated in matters much more complicated than mine, it was much more challenging than I anticipated and I could not have asked for a better team representing my interests. More significantly, to me at least, I thank Christine for her care, compassion and support. She received, handled (tolerated?) and managed my emotions, frustrations, and challenges with tremendous grace. Throughout the process, I knew that she had my best needs, interests and desires in mind and at heart. I can go on and on with my appreciation . . . I was very satisfied with the legal help I received. I too was referred to your agency. My ex-boss was a client of Ryan Proctor, so when I was lost and did not know how or where to start my proceeding he referred Ryan to me. Ryan was supportive and effective. In return Ryan let Erica Arena-Camarillo help me out a lot to help keep the cost down. I love Erica and really felt she had my best interest at all times. She toughened me up when I didnt think I could be. She allowed me to just talk, yet represetned me. I would 110% refer anyone to your firm. I actually have a co-worker who has now found herself in the same position I was in 18 months ago. I gave her Ryans card. I hope when she is ready she will call your firm. My experience with Jenni, Brittany, Rebecca, Max, the reception staff, other members of the law firm, and briefly met one of the senior members of the law firm...they were all extremely professional, helpful, and extra friendly. I clearly stated my needs and the final goals I had in mind for my case. Jenni was very realistic and practical about my outcome. She also had addressed my personal insecurities and fears about my case. I have nothing but positive reviews about their law firm/personnel and suggest anyone/everyone be realistic, open, and honest (including their feelings/fears) with their lawyer about their final goals and personal insecurities about their case.

Worst experience I have ever have. I thought my attorney was representing me but in the end I felt like I left even more confused and $7,000 out of pocket for a divorce. The attorney was more concerned about making sure my ex husband was happy rather than myself and three children. I was of course under a great deal on emotional distress but hoped that I would have been assigned an attorney whom had my best interest in mind. After 8 years I am still paying for the mistakes the attorney had made, not to mention the outrageous fees they charge. Since my experience I have heard similar stories. They do not care about your life. They just want your money.

Jonathan Chase - Thanks to Jenni, Lynn, Rebecca and Brittni for all they did to help me get custody of my daughter. Courts are very hesitant to take custody away from mothers. Jenni helped me to prove that a father can provide a nurturing and loving environment for his child. Sometimes it is in the best interest of a child to be with their father. My daughter is going to now grow up in a safe home with good values surrounded by a loving supportive family.
