During representation of a client who was seriously injured in an accident, he told us he had not filed his tax returns in many years, and the Georgia Department of Revenue and IRS had filed past liens against him. He had little money, so he could not pay the liens. He was also concerned that any settlement money he received would be taken by the government to pay the liens off. We then brought attorney Dan Britt and our client together, so Dan could represent him in his tax matters. Dan did a fantastic job, he got significant reductions in the liens, while protecting the settlement proceeds. We highly recommend Dan Britt for dealing with State and Federal tax problems. I am very wary of lawyers/attorneys from past experience and obvious misgivings. I voluntarily sought the help of Mr. Britt for tax advice related to my small business. Recently, my law firm associated Dan to help with a very difficult tax matter where the client owed the IRS hundreds of thousands of dollars.
