After a less-than-stellar experience with another law firm, I felt uninformed, overwhelmed, and slightly defensive when I walked into the Fierro & Kori law office in Herndon, VA. Mr. Sachin Kori, who worked with me to finalize my divorce, set me at ease right away. Mr. Kori is sharp, good-humored, knowledgeable, and patient. He took extra time to explain and expound upon the divorce process, proceedings, "Legal-ese," and ramifications of the terms of my agreement. He answered all of my (at times neurotic) questions fully and satisfactorily. He responded quickly via email or phone and was flexible and accommodating with his schedule. I especially appreciated that he proactively followed-up on unaddressed items – his initiative helped take some of the burden off my shoulders. The most important part of judging the cost of a lawyer is how “ambitious” they are in charging for their time. Fierro & Kori’s rates & practices were very fair – I was not nickel and dimed if my questions caused us to run a couple of minutes over or for a quick email reply. The best part about my experience was being completely comfortable calling/emailing if I had a random question or scheduling an impromptu meeting, because I knew that there would be no outrageous or surprise charges on my bill later on. While the first firm I went to was a certain “well-established” Group in Fairfax, their services grossly lack what Kori & Fierro excel at – giving their clients the quality time, personal attention, and legal support they deserve.

Mr. Kori has been our attorney since 2012. For 2 years he represented our daughter in a long drawn-out complicated divorce/custody case. Despite the difficult opposing counsel, Mr. Kori fought for our daughter. It was an extremely fair settlement and we were more than satisfied with the outcome. He is truly the very best!
