I was promised a lower rate than my current insurance company (Who was wonderful, but because I had hit black ice my rates were high) so I decided to try something new. Once I signed on, I was informed that my rate was only that low if I signed up for renters insurance as well. Not wanting to switch back after only a week, I agreed. This was the first of all the issues. When I moved in with my mom until my house was finished, I was stunned to learn that they were going to increase my car insurance by $40!!! Ridiculous when I was paying soooo much less with my old company. I spoke to my agent and she was nice about it, and kept my rate lower on the condition that I would use them for my home owners insurance once my home was finished. Then I had an issue that was partly my fault and partly my banks and partly all states. My spouse had taken all the money out of our automatic payment account and placed it into our savings not realizing this account had an automatic payment attached to it (we use separate insurance companies for now). So I called all state to make a payment. They said that their computer showed that the payment had already gone through and to check with my bank, which I did. Bank claims nothing is there. So I call back and they take my payment. Then after, I realize they had charged me anyway, which now overdrew my account. All state was "nice" enough to not charge me their returned fees charge, but this overdrew my bank account so I was SOL on the overdraft fees. (So they claimed) My bank was AMAZING and reversed the charges for me. All State put the money they had taken back into my account. 3 days later I go to deposit my paycheck, and guess what? Not only had I been charged AGAIN for my car insurance (over drawing my account for a SECOND time), I was also charged for the renters insurance that I had cancelled the month before!!!! What kind of company is this?!?! They did NOTHING to help me fix this issue, and I had to file an unauthorized charge statement with my bank to get my money back. So sad that my bank was more helpful than the insurance company that screwed everything up. Would NEVER EVER recommend this company to ANYONE!!

This office is very difficult to work with and does not contact you concerning payments. They only send out one bill but claim to send out more and never return phone calls when you have questions about your bill. They always charge you more or never on time. They told us we were all caught up and then sent us 1 bill. We called them to figure out what was going on and never heard back until the collection agency called. When we contacted them they could not tell us why we owed them money and again never returned our phone call back. I never got and answer until I threatened to take them to court and they told me in order to get out of collections I had to make a payment that same day. I find it unfair and not right that we were sent to collections for their error and they are not willing to work with us. We are willing to pay, but we are not willing to take a ding on our credit for their mistake. I also find it is very convenient that every time we call to talk with either Rachelle or Cathee they are always in meetings even if we were asked to call back at a specific time. This office is not worth the trouble and or the drama to go through.
