While researching personal injury attorneys in Sacramento I narrowed down a few that have been practicing for a long time and had excellent ratings. After reading through various articles on his website I ended up scheduling a free consultation with Ed. I have spoken to multiple personal injury attorneys over the years and was shocked at the personal attention that was provided. Ed explained how the entire process could play out in the case which we discussed and how some attorneys are better fit for certain cases than others. I could tell that this experienced attorney genuinely cares about his clients, does what is in their best interest, and even assists them during the often stressful healing process. A few years ago I thought most personal injury attorneys were simply ambulance chasers but it has been refreshing to discover ethical attorneys like Ed and his staff maintaining such professional integrity and assisting people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Following the accident I had in December 2016, I went to Edward A Smith Law Offices after doing some research online. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the front desk stuff were very friendly. My case was assigned to Chadwick J. Johnson. Chad was extremely helpful, caring, professional, and honest about everything I asked him. Chad, immediately contacted my doctor, my insurance, the other party insurance, and did all the work I was going to do myself and said just focus on going to your doctor appointments and get healthy. I give 5 stars to Chad and the office for such great work they do. Oh, and to mention, the office charges only 29% compare to 33% at other offices and of course you pay only if you get paid. They did excellent job negotiating. I was hit by two cars and had no idea how to go about claims. I called up few lawyers in Sacramento, but not many answered my questions satisfactorily.
